Seriously....

I have always heard that God doesn't give us more than we can handle....well I am done I officially can't handle ANY more.

Today while we were playing at the park for ward park day Sawyer took about a 6 ft fall head first of the play equipment.....like I said SERIOUSLY!! After he wouldn't calm down and his pupils seemed to not be dialating properly I called the peditrician and they said to take him straight to the ER. (And no we did not pass go or collect 200 dollars...)
I called Jeff and headed off to the hospital...thanks goodness I was with GREAT Great friends who totally helped me! Seriously I am so lucky. I would have had a nervous breakdown...while I kind of did but that is besides the point.
By the time I got to the ER Sawyer was bouncing off the walls running around like a crazy person I seriously debated having him get checked out but knew that it would be for the best. Mission Hospital is seriously the greatest place on the planet!! They were so nice and sweet and had us in and out of there and even gave Sawyer the cutest little beenie baby "twigs" a giraffe that he hasn't stopped carrying around.

We left the hospital with a mild concusion and were told to wake him up every 2-3 hrs. to check on him...as I type this he running around and playing like no big deal.

Back to the drama....seriously I feel like my kids are the guiena pigs for the group they are always doing things and causing drama...(not that I want anyone else's kids to have the drama) but I am just DONE DONE!!!

I am so glad that this day is over now I can have a melt down....Really thanks to all my friends at the park who totally helped me to remain calm and not have a heart attack!!!

I swear there was just something in the air yesterday, we should have cried together:)

Remember this happened to Gwen and we had to go to the ER and had to wake her up every 2 hours too? She had a monster black eye to prove it, so don't think Sawyer started it Gwenie did it LONG before him. Plus she has had a broken leg!!!! I really think she does anything and everything and is a crazy child. I can't imagine having more.

You didn't mention how when he fell, you were holding Ryder. That needs to be documented.

I think you held it together FABULOUSLY. I am glad Jeff was able to meet you there (more for you than anything).

Abby, why do I just now hear about this through a thread on facebook and then have to check out your blog to get the scoop? You are in big trouble, oh but I am really happy that Sawyer is ok, Charla is too! I'm calling you right now.

Ethan fell off the couch and onto the only spot possible where there was tile and not carpet. He had a huge goose-egg and was really tired and quiet so I got worried and took him to the dr. By the time the dr got in the room Ethan was laughing hysterically at everything. The Dr actually looked at me and said, "There is something wrong with this baby?!" They just love to make fools of us don't they!! Glad Sawyer is doing okay though. Let me know if you need anything.
