phew.....

This week was all consumed with baby showers, sewing and being busy busy. Last Friday was our Enrichment activity it had me stressed to the max. Then Jeff was gone to BYU for the Florida game....too bad they got killed. But he assures me he still had fun! I did a ton of sewing this week. I am just making stuff up as I go along so it has been fun to experiment with different things.

Saturday after celebrating Cari's baby we headed down to Sea World. We had a good time it wasn't very crowded so we had a good time and then of course we headed to El Indio. It was a great weekend. I just love spending time with my cute little family!

First Day of School 2009

Noah LOVES his preschool. He has been looking forward to going back for weeks! Unfortunately he missed his first day because he was recovering from our trip. He was so excited to go! He picked out his new Superman shirt and of course his "checkers" as he calls him he loves his new slip on vans.

I was hoping to get a few pictures once we got to school but he ran straight to the back yard and never looked back. I barely got a kiss goodbye. He was so happy to get back and see a lot of his old friends from last year and meet a few new friends.

He is such a social friendly little guy. I just love my Noah he is getting so big and it KILLS me that he will be in elementary school next year!
Tomorrow he was asked to bring a picture of his car he drives to school in.....he wanted to stand next to it!

Noah also got to go on a day date with Aunt Lisa today....he hasn't stopped talking about it. He was so happy when he went to bed and had a fabulous time. Thanks Aunt Lisa for making him feel extra special!!!!

Grandma Jody brought over these baseball jammies....I had to take pictures of my matchy boys....they are so fun.

Even though they keep me super super busy I am so grateful for this time with them. These first four years as a mom has gone by so quickly I am sure when they are all in school I am going to wish I could be at home with them all day. I love being a mommy to these cute little men....I never thought I would be a mom to all boys but lately I can't imagine having it ANY other way!

Neilson Family Reunion!

On Friday we packed the kids up for the weekend to head to Las Vegas for the Neilson Reunion on Saturday. Anyone who knows me knows I have serious anxiety about traveling with my kids. I like control I like them in there beds I like my own bed. I am a freak I know. Jeff reminds me that these opportunities are good for them and I suppose he is right. (although I am slightly not feeling that today since I got no sleep last night because Noah was up all night sick to his tummy) I should just be happy it didn't happen in the car. Even with the stomach yuckiness we had a good weekend. Much better than I had anticipated. So here is a rundown of our quick trip!

Ryder HATES the car...perhaps he is why I was so nervous. Luckily licorce saved us in the hours of screaming or at least gave us a 15 minute break.

Finally we made it to the hotel....it's not Vegas without Elvis. The hotel had two swans named Elvis and Priscella the boys loved feeding them lettuce and getting up close with them.

We headed to Henderson to catch Cafe Rio and Neilsen's Custard yummmmm it is so yummy and so worth the treck!

After dinner we took the boys down the strip to check out the lights. The boys loved it and didn't want to go back to bed!

Saturday morning we had some time to kill before the reunion so we decided to check out the Mandalay Bay aquirium. It was so cool! I would say a must see. The boys loved it and so did the adults.

After the aquarium we had a quick lunch and then we headed over to the M&M and Coke factory. The boys had a great time trying soda and picking out there M&M's.

Finally we headed out to Moapa where the church owns some property. At first we were wondering where we were headed because it was in the middle of NO where. But there was a great pool for the kids and plenty of tables to sit and talk. We spent most of the time in the pool with the boys, it is hard to socialize with three little ones.

The Don and Connie Neilson Family.
We are missing a few but most of us made the trek.

The boys sword fighting with these big leaves.

Ryder was happy with his watermelon.

Most of us all stayed at the same hotel. They had a great free breakfast buffet. It was great for us to sit and chat in the morning.
Aunt Heidi, Taylee, David and Sawyer....

Nana, Papa, David and Noah.

Family....

David and Noah

Four Generations.

We are glad to be home but we had a good time being together. The cousins have so much fun together. Jody's Aunt Janice made a really cool book of her Grandparents and all of her aunts and uncles it was really neat. It has definitely inspired me to get all my pictures in books so we can enjoy all these wonderful memories!

Palm Springs

Saturday after the 5k, Jeff and I headed to Palm Springs for a MUCH needed vacation sans children. Thanks Grammy and Grampy for taking ALL three and planning such fun stuff....the boys are still talking about sleeping in the fort.

As you can see I got a little bored on the way....I couldn't help it not having children to comfort or take care of made me giddy with excitement!

While in Palm Springs.......

We consumed 5 hot meals....no cutting no spilling just me and my food...it was good.

Saw a Movie....All About Steve....wasn't the greatest but still nice to get out.

Shopped.....I love that Jeff will shop with me especially when he needs stuff

Played with our new iPhones....seriously we probably looked like total nerds.

Read books

Got almost 12 hours of straight UN-interrupted sleep

Browsed Borders....like the good old Provo days

We had a GREAT little weekend. It was so nice not to worry about the boys and relax and have a great time and having Jeff all to myself...especially since he is super busy with work and school this week.

Kelly ran the ENTIRE thing! Which was totally impressive! It was so so much fun and I can't wait until next year to do it again!!! Thanks girls for doing it with me. Hope you had as much fun as I did!!!

Here are a few pictures from the day.....

Spider Dog and Troy....

Last week I took Sawyer ona little mini date. WEll I had a Dr. appt he was so sad so he came with us. Grandma Jody watched the other two and was so nice and told me to take Sawyer to lunch and spend some time with him. So we headed to the mall after the dr. He got a happy meal at McDonalds. As we were leaving I remembered about this great sale at Build a Bear and that I had a gift card. So I thought it would be fun for us to do......

Build a bear was having an awesome deal where you get any stuffed animal any outfit and any pair of shoes. For 30 dollars. If you have been in that store that is a STEAL!!!
Sawyer picked out a PONY after making him he gave him an air bath. It was so fun to just focus on him. He picked to name his Pony Troy from high school musical he named him and picked out his Basketball clothes. He was so excited walking through the mall with his new found treasure.

Noah was a good sport about it. We have been working really hard on behavior we have started a new system that is working very well. We are doing marbles in a jar and once they fill up there jar they get a prize. So Noah has been doing really well so I took him before the sale ended to make his animal. He chose a black puppy who he outfitted in a spider man costume.

They have had so much fun with there new stuffed animals they are now a good bargaining chip at night when they are trying to leave there beds.
