Swim

Noah and Sawyer started swim lessons this week. Bethany does such a
great job with them. Sawyer started out the week floating.
But finally by Friday I think it finally clicked.
He was so funny in the car telling me all about the things Bethany tells him to do.
His favorite is 123 pull.

I got absolutely no pictures of Noah he was such a fish. I can't believe how much he has learned his favorite thing is to go under and dive for stuff. It was a great week. Especially for the kids who LOVED playing with there friends every day at the pool. We are really looking forward to a summer by the pool. Thanks Bethany for helping to give me a little peace of mind!

Trouble

These two together spell TROUBLE! The tag team efforts have began. Between the two of them one is always up to something naughty. They hear the word NAUGHTY a few times a day. Lucky for them they are CUTE.

Earlier this week I accidentally left an UN opened box of fruit snacks on the counter, when I woke up the had eaten 10 packages of fruit snacks. Noah swears he only had one, but they all had a very very sugar high of a day!

Sawyer and Ryder are now roommates and on a regular basis when we go to check on them before we go to bed we find Sawyer in Ryder's crib. I guess he misses his old bed.

One of our drawers in the kitchen is missing a child lock......I found Ryder inside the drawer digging through my purse that was on the counter he scored he found a granola bar. I swear I feed them. Ryder and Sawyer are at the stage where all they want to do is snack instead of eat meals. It is a LONG time in between meals when they ask for snacks EVERY two seconds.

These two definitely keep me on my toes. There really is never a dull moment. It is cute to see the way they protect and care for each other!

Cookies and Milk baby Shower

My friend Karin is about to have baby boy #4......so of course I have to plan a party!!
I saw this great idea on a blog for a cookies and milk shower.....I can't remember where but it provided tons of inspiration.

Here is Karin.....we like to tease her that she could definitely go a few more months she barely looks pregnant......although I am sure she would beg to differ. The set-up.......
Thanks Lisa and Katie for making cookies and Shaylyn for bringing watermelon and milk! I was so happy with how it turned out......it was a super simple and low key night. I loved the brown and white!

I have had my eye on these canisters FOREVER. I was so excited to have an excuse to buy them they will be used MANY more times!!

It was such a fun night with girlfriends. It was nice to sit around and talk for HOURS.....we were up until 1:30am seriously I haven't sat up and talked like that in a LONG time.

Congrats Karin and thanks for having a baby so I can throw a party!! Can't wait to meet him!!

what it's all about

Wednesday Noah's WONDERFUL preschool teachers put on a Mothers Day lunch. It was such a treat to be there. Mrs. Sims read the cutest poem about being a mother and how precious the time is when they are young. I loved it.....it totally made me cry (thank goodness for sunglasses)
I have loved Noah's school he has been so happy there.

I was lucky to catch a picture with him. Ryder had so much fun playing with Mrs. Sims grandson Graham. They are a month apart it was so cute to listen to them talk to eachother.

Mothers Day Weekend

We had a busy weekend. After Noah's T-ball game We had Jeff's family over for lunch. It was so fun to have everyone over and get to actually sit around and talk and hold Kaitlyn. I forgot to take pictures until the very end....but here is one with Aunt Patrice and Baby Kaitlyn....the boys were so sweet with her and had so much fun holding her!
After lunch we met up with my family first we had a quick bite to eat.....then we headed down to the beach for family pictures....I forgot my camera but I stole this one of Heather's blog.......here is all the Grandkids minus Aaron plus my three the great grandkids. So crazy.

After this Sawyer was playing in the water and went a little too far, luckily Morgan pulled him out....I had a full blown panick attack.....I might of slugged Jeff in the arm and then storm off with a freezing/sandy wet child.....yeah it wasn't my finest moment....I am a total freak when it comes to water and my children and drowning!

The best part was yesterday when Jeff was talking to Sawyer and Sawyer said you were supposed to save me Daddy....you didn't and Mom got super mad at you.

After the festivities of Saturday it was nice to do NOTHING all day long. I literally was lazy and enjoyed every second of the day!

Jeff made me a yummy breakfast.....my favorites....omletes, hashbrowns and of course a Dr. P

He even cleaned it up and got the boys food!!

Jeff got a chance to go to his Mom's ward and listen to her speak and then we went to church. Jeff made a yummy steak dinner. It was a great Sunday. I think Mother's Day is quickly becoming one of my favorite days! Thanks Jeff for a wonderful day! I love being a MOm!!

Lego Land

A few weeks ago we headed to Lego Land. It was a perfectday with perfect weather and not too many crowds.
Sawyer had fun climbing all over the Bionicles while we waited for Noah and Jeff to get off some big kid rides! Noah and Jeff were having fun on the scrambler....

The boys loved the giant slide I think Jeff and I took turns taking them on it like 5 times.

The fireman ride.....really not a ride more of a torture device. The boys are so not ready to be firemen.

Ryder was exhausted.......

They love the lego cars. Noah can't wait until he is big enough for the big kid cars.

It was an awesome day, the boys absolutely love Lego Land and ask to go almost every weekend. It is such a great boy place. We have so much fun when we go!

Thinking

Wouldn't it be nice to be a kid again and fall asleep anywhere.






I am not such a fan of Sherlock Holmes we are watching it right now and I am BORED.....sorry babe :)

I registered my "big" baby yesterday for kindergarten I am actually just sick over the fact that he is old enough to go to school. He is getting SO big! It is my favorite when Jeff tells him we are going to put a book on his head to keep him from growing

I have been getting HORRIBLE canker-sores all over my tongue everytime I eat nuts. It is really rather annoying they hurt SO bad.

My baby is no longer a baby but I am glad he still wants to cuddle or I would be SAD.

We have famlily pictures tomorrow and I still have no clue what I am wearing. Talk about stress.

I'm absolutely in Love with my Kindle. I have been reading like crazy. The best feature is it syncs to my iPhone and I can read wherever I am.
So if you have any good book recommendations pass them along.


I am working on not being SO sensitive but thinks others should do the same. It's only fair??

I am thinking of happiness, that it's a choice and I love the new sign I made to remind me as I leave the house. It has made a huge difference.

I am thinking it's time for some change.....just not sure what I want to change first

Ok I am done sorry for the random blog post but this is what happens as a result of boredom.

apparently yesterday was National Star Wars day. Noah was well prepared. And wore this all day! The obsession is very much alive!!
