Happy Day

It's this guys birthday today!!! We all know I love Birthdays....I'll take any reason to celebrate anything. YES I am that mom who makes a BIG deal about everything. But I figure that I only have a short time with my children in my home so hey I will make anything a big deal....I want them to miss me someday! Oh wait back to the birthday tribute if you will.
I like Jeff's birthday because we are finally the same age again. I am three months and 13 days older than him.....(might sound like 3 1/2 months but its not) and he likes to tease me for these three months and 13 days that I am old. So now we are both old!
Happy Birthday to my bestest friend, love of my life, my baby daddy, an awesome provider, our protector.....OUR EVERYTHING!! We love you and hope you have a great Birthday!!!!

Perfect

I took Sawyer and Noah to the dentist for the first time this week. I was a little worries that Noah was going to have tons of cavities because he is almost 5 and hasn't gone in. Well we tried once and he screamed and freaked.
This time I took them to a pediatric dentist which was definitely the way to go.

They got there teeth cleaned and x-rays.

They have no cavities and the dentist said we are doing a great job brushing! Wohoo. I have to give all the credit he is really good at brushing the boys teeth everynight!

Backyard Fun

We had a smaller version of this pool three years ago and the boys loved it. I asked Jeff to pick up this one earlier this week.
Noah thought it would be fun to make a waterslide into the pool.......
They had a blast. This is going to give us many many hours of entertainment this summer. So excited!

Dollar bin squirt guns are the best! Except when Noah kept geting the little ones in the face. Finally I did it to him and luckily he now understands!

Fathers Weekend

We had a great weekend honoring all the Dad's in our lives. It was busy just the way the boys like it.

Noah started the weekend off by spending the night at Papa Pauls. He was so excited I even got him to take a nap on Friday.....score for me. Papa Paul picked him up on his way home from work. They had a great night grilling hamburgers, going to yogurt land and walking the dogs. The next morning Noah was up bright and early 6am lucky for us with out him here we all slept until 8. They headed to Target and for a doughnut run. Noah had a great time and wants to wear his Super Mario Bros. shirt everyday. Thanks Papa Paul for a fun sleepover Noah had a blast.

After Jeff picked up Noah Saturday morning we headed over to Grandma Jody's and Papa Rich's to celebrate Fathers day with them. They boys had a blast playing with Uncle Rob and Aunt Shannon in the pool. Which was great for us Ryder napped the whole time, Jeff has a double ear infection so it was nice to have some entertainment. And bonus for me I got to hold baby Kaitlyn for a quick nap!

Uncle Rob was helping the boys surf in the pool! We are looking forward to many many more BBQ's by the pool this summer. Thanks Grandma Jody and Grandpa Rich!
Saturday night we went out to dinner with Jeff's Dad and family. How did I not get any pictures?? Lets just say chasing three kids at dinner with two parents at less than 100% is a challenge.

Sunday the boys and I let Jeff sleep in and we made yummy cinnamon french toast and let Jeff open presents. In the afternoon we headed down to Temecula to spend time with them and see Aaron since he was home for a SHORT weekend.
All the Shaw's.......the last time we were all together was Christmas.......

Shaw kids.....

Happy Fathers day!

The boys and i are so lucky to have Jeff. He is an amazing Dad. He is such an awesome examples to our boys. We are so blessed! Hope all you fathers had a great day!!!

It's hard to believe........

Years ago Jeff and I were married. It seems like the years are flying by! (is that a good thing?)
I keep thinking someday we will get sick of eachother.....but really I like him more now than I ever thought possible.

I can't wait to see what the rest of our lives together bring!

I love you J. Nobody knows me and gets me better than you. Thanks for giving me the greatest love story and the worlds cutest boys! I love you!!!

Hot Dog Graduates

I wasn't sure if I was going to make it down to Temecula for Michael's High School graduation. But even though I felt like death I wanted to go. He is the last Shaw to graduate from TV. Leslie goes to Chapparral. It was so crazy to be on the same field I graduated on 10 years ago. I am feeling OLD!!

The Graduate....... Michael with Leslie and Briar.

The original Shaw family. Minus Aaron who is in China. We missed you Aaron!!

Grandma Dayle came, poor Grandpa couldn't make it since he is still recovering from heart surgery. Though he did make it for dinner afterwards. LOVE you Grandpa!

With his sisters.........
Me and Michael......I can't believe how grown up he looks.

Chloe wanted to try on Michael's cap for next year....Michael being a goof as always!
I don't think there were two happier parents!! Way to go Mom and Dad!!

The Holdaways and The Shaw's. I just can't get over the two of them being adults. Chris was the first baby I ever babysat at 11. Seriously I don't think I would leave my kids with an 11 year old. So crazy to me.

Leslie is going to be a JUNIOR......so crazy. My parents are almost empty nesters!

It was a great fun day! Thanks Aunt Cari for watching the boys so I could go.
My parents kept the boys that night so I could go home and get a good nights rest. I really appreciate all my parents do for me and the boys. It was a HORRIBLE week! But I am so glad I went to see Michael graduate!

Last Day

Noah had his very last day of preschool on Wednesday. We have loved Noah's school and I can't believe how fast these last two years has flown bye. And my "big baby" is going off to Kindergarten in the Fall.

Getting ready to sing songs one last time.........

Mrs. Sims called all the kids up and said something about them.......Noah was being shy. She actually said that he likes to do his own thing and is one of the quiet one of the boys.....so crazy because that is opposite of how he is at home.
His completion certificate........

Noah and Mrs. Sims.......

Noah and Mrs. Glazier......

Noah had a blast this year, he is really excited about going to Kindergarten and has already asked why he has to wait all summer. It's going to be a long summer!
Way to go NOAH!!!

Birthday/Grad party

Saturday night we went to Fuddruckers to celebrate
Papa's Birthday and some of Jeff's cousins who
graduate this year. It was a small group for
The Neilson's but it was nice to sit and chat!!
The whole group.......Jack and Sawyer have a love/hate
relationship. They are always picking on each other.
(as seen above) oh the joys of 3 year olds!

The 3 graduates.........
Jeff's cousin Nicole made the cutest cake with pictures
of them on it. It was almost to pretty to eat!

Jeff with his boy cousins and Uncle Walt. Seriously Jeff got
none of the Neilson genes when it comes to height. Even his
girl cousins are taller than him.

Thanks Aunt Heidi and Aunt Arlene for planning a
great party!! We had a lot of fun!!

Last T-Ball game

Saturday was Noah's last T-Ball game. Noah really loved T-Ball and is already talking about playing again!!

Here he is getting his trophey with Coach Jon.

Noah with a few of his friends from church.....

Last time up to bat. He refused to let the coach pitch to him
when I asked him why he said Mom it is T-ball you have to
hit off the T. Funny kid.

Really dark photo. But poor Ryder gets stuck in the stroller
he does well as long as he has LOTS of food!!

Day of Disney

We spent the day yesterday at Disneyland with Grammy and Leslie. It was a great day not super crowded or hot. Just right. Except for my little ones. Sawyer and Ryder were something else yesterday.....super clingy and HARD. It was fun but a few times I was about to pack it up and go home. Luckily my mom and Leslie were there and very helpful.

We went to California Adventure first......Toy story was especially fun with extra hands I actually got to play this time!
While everyone was on California Soarin I took Sawyer to take a picture with Lightining McQueen.
He was thrilled.

Sunny and bright on It's a Small World.

The only ride Ryder begged to go on.....he LOVES the Merry Go Round!!!

After work Grampy and Jeff met up with us. We went to Pizza Port for dinner and then on a few more rides.

US waiting for BUZZ

We booked it out of the park before fireworks were over and barely made it to the tram before these two crashed........

Ryder was in a sucker coma. We had a GREAT day. I can't remember the last time I was at Disneyland ALL day. It was so fun! So glad that Grammy, Grampy and Leslie have passes again!!!
