Baby Girl.....

WAY back in April when Lisa told me she was having a girl I told her I was doing her shower. You see Lisa is Ryder's surrogate mother. Ryder loves her she has held him since birth, got him to take a bottle and listened to his endless cries and still held him. Seriously he loves her.....he even still tries to sit on her lap even though baby girl is now taking up most of that lap. Any how I love to throw a party especially a girly pink one.
When Lisa told me she liked green and pink I was so excited because if I had ever had a girl it would of been lime green and hot pink!!

I had a fun time decorating even though these pictures are from the next day you get the idea......Thanks Martha Stewart for the tissue paper pom poms.....these made such a difference and were so easy. Definitely a party staple from here on out.

I seriously LOVE costco every once in a while they sell some great things for entertaining and they are such a deal... that is how I got the plate tier and water pitcher. I love to add bows to change it up for the theme!

Me, Lisa and Shaylyn......

Lisa and Shaylyn.....

Jenny, Bethany, and Katie.....

Angela, Kelly and Charise......
If I haven't said it enough I am SOOOOO lucky with my group of friends. I have been so blessed to have such amazing friends who are so supportive and I know I can count on. I love them each for there wonderful attitudes... really I believe it takes a village to raise a child. They are so awesome. Thanks girls for coming and partying it up with me!!!

The fabulous gifts....seriously this is going to be one well dressed baby girl!!

Thanks Lisa for letting us spoil you!!! I can't wait to see her!!!

SHUT-IN

I know no one is going to believe me when I say this but.....I am becoming a SHUT-IN!

I am serious. I am to this point. Sawyer is at that oh so lovely age where he has chosen to forget all the words he knows, so instead of talking his way out of a problem he hits, bites, scratches, you name it he does it. So for fear of other children I am not leaving the house. Well atleast not to play. The park is no fun I am too busy chasing the kid all over said park. Same with the pool, beach, lake. YUCK. All while I am carrying Ryder around (who refuses to stand on his feet) Though I don't blame him why would the kid walk when everytime he stands he gets knocked down by his LOVING brothers....(input sarcasm) I told Jeff that we need the Costco swing set in the backyard so I NEVER have to leave. Then I can get into sewing and finally catch up on my scrapbooking.

I figure by the time I get Sawyer out of this stage then Ryder will start. SO if you don't see us for awhile I am done and becoming a shut in. So don't worry I haven't fallen off the wagon completely. At least not yet!

BUSY weekend......

We had a very busy weekend! Friday night we were able to go to Jeff's cousin Tahnee's wedding to Tyler. I didn't take one picture some how I was too busy .....though I can't imagine why. I swear lately I have felt like we are a circus everywhere we go! Noah is finally at a good age but then we have Sawyer in the twos and Ryder following close behind. It's chaos!

Saturday morning we were up early so I told Jeff we should take the boys to feed the ducks at the duck pond. I have been excited to take the boys and Jeff used to go there with his Grandma. We took them to the duck pond in Lake Forest. The boys loved it and there were so many ducks! Next time for sure we will bring more bread! It was a fun Saturday morning activity! Saturday afternoon Jeff finally took me to see the Time Travelers Wife. I LOVED the book and was so excited to see the movie. Usually books that go to movies aren't my favorite but I was pleased with the movie!

Sunday we headed to Menifee for Jack and Wes's birthday and then it was off to Temecula to spend time with my family and celebrate Carters birthday. It was a fun weekend. I love when we are so busy. Here are a few pictures from the weekend. Maybe when Ryder isn't a permanent fixture on my hip I will get some more photos!!!

San Diego Getaway

On Friday we headed down to San Diego for a little weekend getaway with Jeff's family. I have come to realize that we don't go enough places as our children are NOT good travelers. We had a GREAT time despite the 3 hours of sleep each night. The boys were pretty good considering the had virtually NO sleep. This morning however the are making me pay for it. This is totally making me rethink the family reunion in Vegas in September. We will see. Here is a little recap I realize I took no pictures with Rob and Shannon or Grandpa and Grandma. But they were there and we had a fun time!!!!!

On Saturday it was all about Sea World. Noah was so excited to go to Sea World he even picked out his fishy shirt because he thought the fish would like it!

Touching Sting Rays.....definitley a highlight....and Jeff had never known this was there??

Ryder liked looking at the sharks he made the cutest whoa when he saw an animal.....

The polar bears....this is one of my FAVORITES at Sea World the Artic exibit is so nice and cool.....

More sting rays......

On Sunday we headed to El Indio for lunch with Grandpa and Grandma and then we headed down to Coronado to take the boys over the bridge get some of our favorite ice cream and walk on the beach! We had a great trip even with the LONG drive home!!!

Noah wanted to take mine and Jeff's picture.......

ITCH!!!!!

Excuse the nasty picture. But this just has to be documented. This morning I woke up and I was itchy. I told Jeff I felt like that one time when I had hives. He turned on the lights. And yep HIVES! The last time it was caused by penicillin this time another antibiotic for a sinus infection. It itches soooo bad. Jeff went out and got me benedryl. I took some BIG mistake I was so exhausted and it didn't take the itch away. The Dr. said to drink lots of fluids but it could take a few days to get rid of them.
I had to go down to the Scout Shop for pack meeting awards. This is something I dread every month it is a HUGE task and three kids does not help. When I got there the usual guy wasn't there so I had to wander around the store with three kids in horrible itchy pain. Afterwards I met Jeff for lunch, he was like you look worse and I said that is because I had a stressful morning. People were staring at me like I had a rare disease. This has been a very LONG week. I am SO glad tomorrow is Friday.

I am so itchy. Even my eyebrows itch. It is the worst on my back and tummy. I can't wait for these suckers to go away!!!

Santa Ana Zoo

On Saturday we headed up to the Santa Ana Zoo we went with Grandpa and Grandma. The zoo is super tiny. But the kids loved it! They loved checking out all the monkeys. There is also a great park the boys had so much fun playing on it.

Climbing like a monkey.....

Komono Dragon......

This Monkey's name was Noah. We had to get him in the shot with our Noah......

This little guy ran right up to the fence. The boys were so excited......

Ryder was having a hard time....he got sunscreen in his eyes and was not happy about wearing a hat or being hot. He is SO different from my other two!

After the zoo we headed to Grandpa and Grandma's pool to cool off. It was a great Saturday. Thanks Grandpa and Grandma for letting us celebrate your anniversary with you!
