BIG Thanks!

When we moved to Orange County two years ago I thought I might die....or kill my husband. (But that is a whole other story) Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would be so blessed and so loved.
I have the very best group of friends. I can't believe how many of them have run to my aid this past week. It is so comforting to have people offer to come and pick up my kids and play with them while I am obviously out of it. And bringing TONS of food....seriously I don't think they have EVER eaten so well. I am so beyond touched. I am the worst patient ever because I HATE having to admit that I just can't do it on my own. I guess Heavenly Father was looking out for us two years ago when he brought us here. Besides friends I also have the BEST Mom and Mom in law. They have gone above and beyond the call of duty! They are the best examples of selfless love and service!
THANKS EVERYONE!!!! Seriously much love to all of you!!!
Hopefully we will be getting out this week and enjoying some of this GLORIOUS weather!
And if this doesn't bring a smile to your face.....my baby is getting WAY to big!!!!

Six Celebration

Before all the craziness of last week we got a chance to celebrate our six year anniversary. Jeff's mom was nice enough to watch all the boys all day so we could have a much needed day off. We headed down to Laguna to walk around and hang out. We love it down there it totally reminds us of our dating days!

After Laguna we of course had to make a Sprinkles run. mmmmm!! Jeff is so good to me.

That evening we had reservations at Trabuco Oaks Steak House. It was really yummy and they even brought us a cute sundae because we were celebrating our anniversary. We exchanged gifts....we don't do much for these days but I think we were both happy I got Jeff Punch Out for the Wii and Jeff got me a subsription to People which I am so happy with! After dinner we went to see a sneak preview of the Proposal. It was HILARIOUS. I have not laughed that long in a REALLY long time.

Thanks Jeff for a wonderful day I am so lucky to be married to you!!!!

LONGEST week ever!!!!

First I must say Happy Fathers day! I am so lucky to have Jeff as the father of my boys. He is the most patient person I know! He has really gone above and beyond this week. I wish I could give him the fathers day he really deserves. I promise we will celebrate in a few weeks!!!!
Happy Fathers day to my Dad and Grandpa. I am so lucky to have such wonderful examples and great priesthood holders in my life. But mostly I am glad that my boys have such wonderful men to look up to and aspire to be like. Hope you all have an amazing day!!!

Well it has been a REALLY long week. On Sunday night in the middle of the night I woke up to horrible back pain. I couldn't sleep at all. By morning the pain was so bad I was throwing up. Jeff decided to take a vacation day Monday. He took Noah and Sawyer to Disneyland. I guess it was horribly crowded because it was one of the last days for our pass. Either way I am glad that got to have some fun. I headed to urgent care to try and get some relief for my back I thought I threw out. I went home with some fantastic drugs and muscle relaxers.

Monday night in the middle of the night I woke up with a horrible pain in my right side under my ribs. I thought I might die. This just happens to be the same pain that sent me to the ER when I was prego with Ryder. Tuesday I headed into the dr. telling them I thought I had gallstones. They said I was too young and it was probably an ulcer. After I told him my mom had gall bladder surgery at 35 he thought they should do an ultrasound. After the ultrasound they found 20 gall stones. The tech she had NEVER seen so many and was surprised I could even walk. Thanks high pain tolerance.

Wednesday I met with the surgeon. To my disappointment they said that I needed to schdedule the surgery in 4-6 weeks. I was so frustrated and totally cried on the way home. I was in the most horrible pain. Really I didn't know how I could live with this pain. And then have surgery and have to deal with that and the boys.

Wednesday was a long night and Thursday morning I was throwing up again and dying in pain. Jeff I think had enough of seeing me so upset that he called his mom and took me to the ER. They got me in very fast. The nurse was nice and immediately got me started on an IV and pain meds. They were wonderful. They did another ultrasound and the ER dr. told me that they were going to admit me because my gall bladder was starting to get infected. Then a few minutes later they decided to go ahead and do the surgery. It all happened so fast and I remember them prepping me. Then I woke up startled and I was in recovery. I hate being put under it is the freakiest thing. I hate not having control.

I came home friday afternoon and have been pretty out of it since. Today is the first day I can sit up and really carry on a conversation. I hope that the worst is over and that this next week goes by faster. I just want to be better and get on with summer.

Thanks to all our family and friends who have and are helping us. I hate having to ask for help and have been so blessed.

Ocean Institute

On Wednesday I went with Noah on his last preschool field trip. He has really taken a liking to all the ocean stuff. He is really fascinated and I am hoping we can get him to Sea World this summer so he can see whales and sharks!

sorry for the poor photo quality. I was using my camera on my phone since I forgot the big camera!
Here is the entire preschool Noah is in the younger class. He has LOVED preschool. He is really going to miss it over the summer.

Checking out the Sea Stars......

They did a great sorting and graph project Noah was so proud....

Noah and Drew on the way to the institute.

It was a great morning. I really treasure being able to spend a couple of hours doing something just for Noah. Out of all the boys he rarely gets one on one time. So it was nice especially when he was just so excited about this. Thanks Grandma Jody for watching the babies while I went with Noah!

Eleven

I think I may just cry next month when he turns one. Ryder has come such a long way and is such a fun happy guy. I want him to stay this way. Ryder LOVES to crawl around the house, and when I walk past him he pounds on the floor until I pick him up.
He is a total Mama's boy. I LOVE it. He is content with Daddy or anyone else but if he sees me he wants me to hold him. It makes me feel like I am doing something right.
He is a PIG. He is loving any food we give him. Watermelon and Canteloupe are his favorite fruits and he loves any kind of meat. He tried ribs on memorial day right off the bone. mmmmm!
The biggest accomplishment this month was getting him to finally sleep in his crib!!! Yahoo. I thought this was going to be so horrible but he is doing great.

I have already begun the party planning for his birthday I can't wait for the fun totally themed out event!!!!
Here are pictures from this month most I have already posted but oh well!

Swimmers......

Last week Noah and Sawyer started swim lessons. The boys had so much fun. They weren't too happy to start them but have been asking about them all this week! I am so lucky that my friend Bethany teaches swim lessons. I really think the boys did so well because they were with someone they knew and trusted. It was so great and I think they are both going to LOVE the pool this summer!

Noah was a little difficult and was really talking back a TON. But he good do it and that was the most frustrating part!

Sawyer was a crack up he kept talking to Bethany I swear he is two going on twenty! He just would float there. It was so funny. I will have to post the video soon.

I bought the boys googles and gave them to them the last day. Ryder enjoyed sitting with me and eating them!

It was a great week. I hope to get the boys in the water this week for lots of practicing! Thanks again Bethany!!!!

Strawberry Fields Forever......

I wish I had taken pictures of this but I just had to write this story down before I forget.

I have been buying TONS of fresh fruit lately. And the boys have been loving it. I have to keep everything washed and ready in the fridge because the boys just go in there and grab as they please. The other day when I was picking up Noah's room I found probably about 20 stems from the tops of strawberries, under his bed. I asked him about it and he told me that it was an accident. What a funny boy I guess that is what I get for trying to get something done.

Sawyer was probably the ring leader....he has become such a spit fire. He seems to be the brains behind most operations these days. He now knows how to open the gate and the fridge....ugh. He is such a machine when it comes to food.
Also the other day I found him sitting in my room in front of Jeff's night stand. He was going through Jeff's receipts. When I asked him what he was doing he told me he was doing bills. It was so funny. I guess he will take after Daddy and become an accountant.

Lake Visit and a Birthday.....

Uncle Aaron came home last weekend for a visit, we haven't seen him since Christmas so we headed out to the lake to take Grampy's boat out! The boys loved it! When we got there Noah threw on his life jacket and literally jumped in the water to catch the boat. It was hilarious!

Ryder decided to eat the dirt....it was so nasty!

Aaron was so good to play with the boys!

Leslie and her friends spent the afternoon floating...lucky for them they have Evan to pull them around.
