A day for Baby K

The last few weekends have been great. All about family activities.
Last weekend Rob and Shannon baptized our niece Kaitlyn.
The boys love holding baby K any chance they get.
She was a little slippery in her beautiful dress that
was made from Shannon's wedding dress.
Such an awesome idea.

I can't get enough of her either. Any chance I get I snatch her
up. Nothing like holding a baby especially a girl baby!!

Proud parents......

I didn't get a group shot on my camera I will have to steal
one from Jeff's mom and post it. It was nice to be there
with Baby K on her special day.

I was very proud of the boys especially since they
were the only kids there that day. They were very patient
they were rewarded with ice cream for there efforts.

After the Baptism we were sitting outside waiting to say goodbye.
We had a little photo shoot. The boys had fun taking pictures
with my big camera that I NEVER let them touch.

Noah's turn with the camera......Not too bad....

Noah is such a cutie. He is so handsome and tan. I can't believe he is 5!!!

Build a Bear

Poor Sawyer with the move and all that is going on he has been feeling a little left out. I decided to take him on a little date. He saw a commercial for build and bear and was begging me to take him. Since they were having a great sale I decided that it would be a great thing to do with him. He picked the music in the car and was soaking up all the attention.

He picked out a Teddy Bear. His favorite part of course is the air bath and brushing.
He decided to dress the bear in a Jedi outfit. He was so excited about the whole thing. Afterwards he wanted to walk around the mall and get a smoothie. He doesn't get my attention much but when he does he is very specific about what he wants!

Alive......Barely.

2 weeks until moving day.....
at least someone is sleeping.....
3 years ago this was SO much easier
I HATE MOVING!!
We are excited to have MUCH more space.
I am looking forward to not having to go outside to do laundry,
a big backyard and getting everything organized
I DO NOT handle the chaos of moving well. I snap at people
mainly my children and husband. Luckily we are in the home stretch!

Celebrate

On Saturday we had a small get together for Ryder's birthday. Grandma Jody and Papa Rich heated up the pool and threw a killer party! The boys LOVE to swim and had fun playing in the water. My mom and dad came down and the boys were especially excited to have both Grampy and Papa Rich playing with them in the pool.

Jeff was the patient BBQ master. Grilling tons of chicken and hotdogs. Ryder loved his cake and especially enjoyed blowing out the candles. My friend Kelly gave me a great idea for an ice cream cake and it turned out so yummy. It will definitely be a new Birthday favorite. Thanks Kelly.

I am horrible at getting picutres I need to turn the camera over so I can make sure to get good shots. Next party for sure!

Ryder was so spoiled and has been having TONS of fun playing with his new toys. He doesn't really have anything of his own so he has been loving his stuff.

Thanks family for coming and spoiling our little guy! We love you!!

Happy 2nd Birthday Ryder!

Our baby is 2 today!!! So crazy. I can't believe how fast these last two years have flown by. And really I can't imagine a day without him. It hit me yesterday when we were celebrating his Birthday how sad I am he is NOT a baby anymore. It is weird because this is the first time we don't have a newborn when we have a 2 year old. Maybe this will help me to enjoy the craziness of the terrible 2's. Some things about our not so little Ryder.....

*He loves his brothers. Loves to wrestle, cuddle, hit, poke and anything else they will let him get away with. He recently just started saying there names and it is the cutest thing EVER.

*Speaking of talking he is doing a ton of it. Many many new words in the last few weeks. But don't worry if he can't say the word he will just scream at you......he likes to be heard.

*every morning he gets out of bed and asks for a snack....aka fruit snacks. It buys us another 30 minutes or so to sleep in.

*He loves buzz, woody, thomas, and any balls.

*He loves to be outside.

(this picture is a little blurry but I had to showcase his all by myself pose)

*He is Mr. Independent and has to try to do things first otherwise....the scream.

*He is still such a love he LOVES to cuddle. He will still climb up on my lap and fall asleep

*Loves to watch movies

*Is obsessed with babies, he loves to hold them and gets mad if you try and take a baby out of his arms. He loves them so much the big boys tried to buy him baby alive for his birthday.

Happy Birthday Ryder. We love you and are so blessed to have you in our family.

Trapp Week 2010

Last week was our annual 4th of July Trapp week!
We were at the Newport Coast Villas again this year.
It is such a great place for a group.
We had a lot of fun. We made big group dinners in the condo,
rocked rock band and hung out at the pool.
We were sad when it was time to go home.

Noah was so cute and was so happy on the 4th he kept
saying dinner by the pool and fireworks what a beautiful
night. He is such a crack up! Thanks Trapp's for a GREAT
week. Can't wait until next year!!

Birthday Celebrations

Despite having to go to work on his birthday I think Jeff had a great day.
The boys and I woke him up with breakfast in bed.....his favorite cinnamon rolls....thanks
again Karin! Then he was off to work he celebrated at the office with yummy
Baskin Robbins Mint and Chip Pie.

We finished of the day with Jeff's Birthday dinner at Lucille's.
Jeff chooses Lucille's every year.....I don't get it. Total man food.
I am so not a fan. But hey it wasn't my Birthday. Noah and Jeff
LOVED it. Lucky for them Jeff got a gift card to go back.

Jeff and I after dinner.......

Ryder and Jeff waiting patiently for dinner.........and yes I
use the word patiently loosely.

All smiles after dinner eating suckers!!
We love you Jeff and hope you had a fabulous birthday!!!!

Beach Picnic

A few Sundays ago we went to Jeff's cousin Cameron's missionary farwell. Church was at 9 so we had the whole day left to be together. We thought it would be fun to take the boys down to the beach and have a picnic for dinner. We went to Aliso Creek beach which we love, great close flat parking plus they have a park which was good because it was FREEZING and the boys were happy to just be at the beach! A rare family picture.........it was a fun afternoon evening. Even though we didn't last long. It has been a very mild summer so far.

We are looking forward to many more beach picnics!
