Tag Team

That's exactly what these two are doing to me. It's moments when they look like this that save me from locking them outside in the rain........ They must have been exhausted from destroying the house.

Between nursing, pumping and all the other Mom stuff there is a lot of down time for these two to trash the place. And boy are they doing a good job.

I was telling Jeff I am so tired of things being broken or ruined from them.....It will end right??

This weeks tally:

*car door no longer opens from the inside

*stickers covering car windows

*crayon on two new walls

*dumped an entire bottle of baby powder on the freshly mopped floor

*crumbled an entire package of hawaiian rolls and then threw them in the trash

* they ate have a costco size container of strawberries

Not to mention the day to day messes.....these kids have no clue how to eat and get food everywhere I can't wait for it to be a bit warmer so they can eat outside every night. Bathroom covered in pee and tooth paste. Ryder keeps stripping down and peeing everywhere....I need to potty train him but seriously I can't even imagine adding that into the mix right now.

Ugh....mostly it isn't even noon yet. It is going to be a LONG day!!

Polar Express Comes to Town......

Last Thursday Sawyer had his preschool party. It was so cute they all came in there PJ's and read the Polar Express. When the parents came they were all lined up in the train to sing songs to the parents!!

It was so cute. I have never seen Sawyer stay in one place for very long......I think mommy may ask Santa for a huge box for each of them this year!!!

This is so not related to this but.......I had to document Ryder and his sour cream. He loves the stuff. He asks for either cream or ketchup with almost every meal!!

Happy 2nd Birthday Ryder!

Our baby is 2 today!!! So crazy. I can't believe how fast these last two years have flown by. And really I can't imagine a day without him. It hit me yesterday when we were celebrating his Birthday how sad I am he is NOT a baby anymore. It is weird because this is the first time we don't have a newborn when we have a 2 year old. Maybe this will help me to enjoy the craziness of the terrible 2's. Some things about our not so little Ryder.....

*He loves his brothers. Loves to wrestle, cuddle, hit, poke and anything else they will let him get away with. He recently just started saying there names and it is the cutest thing EVER.

*Speaking of talking he is doing a ton of it. Many many new words in the last few weeks. But don't worry if he can't say the word he will just scream at you......he likes to be heard.

*every morning he gets out of bed and asks for a snack....aka fruit snacks. It buys us another 30 minutes or so to sleep in.

*He loves buzz, woody, thomas, and any balls.

*He loves to be outside.

(this picture is a little blurry but I had to showcase his all by myself pose)

*He is Mr. Independent and has to try to do things first otherwise....the scream.

*He is still such a love he LOVES to cuddle. He will still climb up on my lap and fall asleep

*Loves to watch movies

*Is obsessed with babies, he loves to hold them and gets mad if you try and take a baby out of his arms. He loves them so much the big boys tried to buy him baby alive for his birthday.

Happy Birthday Ryder. We love you and are so blessed to have you in our family.

cuteness

Yes I realize there are a million pictures of Ryder like this but he LOVES having his picture taken. He actually cries if I pull out the camera and DON'T take one of him.
He cracks us up his new thing is making light saber noises like his big brother. He carries around his toys saying shh shhh. It is hilarious.

1 to the 8

Today marks Ryder's eighteen month! I can't believe he is that old. I am so sad that my "baby" is more over a toddler now! This stage is always a hard one for me and it is especially hard this time because I just got one out of this stage like a minute ago!

Things I love about Ryry

*when he dances it is so cute because he hasn't figured out how to move his feet yet.

* He can finally walk and uses it as his primary mode of transportation.

* He LOVES his Daddy and walks around looking for him all day

* He loves to cuddle...please oh please don't let that change!

* He copies EVERYTHING his big brothers do EVERYTHING

*He loves nursery and could really careless about sacrament meeting.

* He doesn't have stranger anxiety yet and will pretty much go to anyone

* He is a great sleeper!

* He loves his bottle and his blankie!

I can't even imagine our life without our sweet baby boy!!

He WALKED!!!!

I am in crazy party mode.....did you know I LOVE parties! I do! They make me happy, if I wrote poems or songs I would write one. That is how happy they make me. Especially since tomorrow's festivities is a totally girly baby shower!!! Jeff is sure I have a disease. He is probably right I live for planning and throwing a party!!!

In other news......RYDER WALKED!!! He really walked. About fifty steps in total. But we are thrilled. Of course I took video! I will post tomorrow! I can't believe my "little" baby is getting so big!! It kills me!!

Uh-Oh

I remember when Sawyer started learning things faster than Noah did I was amazed but now with Ryder it is just ridiculous, he wants so bad to be like his big brothers!

Last night Noah came in and told Jeff and I that Ryder was standing on the oven, I figured he was talking about the play kitchen (something that happens daily) Then Jeff said to come look at our baby in the kitchen......

We had given the other two cookies for dessert and left them on the oven, apparently he wanted one too!

I can't believe how fast he is picking up on everything, in church he was playing with the star wars and making little whoosh (light saber sounds) like Noah and Sawyer do. Jeff and I were cracking up.

He's like a little sponge theses days picking up the good and the bad!

Fall Day at Disneyland........

On Wednesday Jody and I took the boys to go and meet Aunt Heidi and her gang for a fun afternoon at Disneyland. Oh how I LOVE Disneyland in the fall. (Seriously I could do a whole post about it....but I won't)

It was so great to spend the afternoon with them the boys just LOVED having someone to play with and Noah was especially happy to go on all the big kid rides with Jessica. I got to go on Space Mountain with Noah which was a nice treat. Disneyland is all decked out for Halloween they even decorated Space Mountain. I wasn't really a fan. I was hoping it would be Disney cute and scary but I felt like they were trying to be like Knotts Scary Farm. I thought they should have at least put some scary music or something.

Jessica and the boys on the tea cups! They LOVE the tea cups.

Behind Big Thunder Railroad. There is the cutest area with pumpkins and such cute Halloween decorations. Taylee and Sawyer (Sawyer was refusing to cooperate for pictures!)

Ryder was sooo excited to get his own seat on It's a Small World. He LOVED it!!

Sawyer is obsessed with Toy Story!! So he was so excited to see Woody. He was running after him because he was trying to leave so I snapped a quick picture. Sawyer was thrilled.

Taylee with the pumpkin people....

Ryder and I attempting a picture on It's a Small World

Jeff met us after work and got to have some dinner with us and go on a few rides. We stayed until fireworks....which from what we saw looked like a great show. But Disney must be scaling back because the show was only 11 minutes instead of the usual 20.

Thanks Heidi and Grandma Jody for a great afternoon it was so nice to see everyone.

I had to include these bath photos of Ryder.....I realized he almost never gets a bath by himself!

SHUT-IN

I know no one is going to believe me when I say this but.....I am becoming a SHUT-IN!

I am serious. I am to this point. Sawyer is at that oh so lovely age where he has chosen to forget all the words he knows, so instead of talking his way out of a problem he hits, bites, scratches, you name it he does it. So for fear of other children I am not leaving the house. Well atleast not to play. The park is no fun I am too busy chasing the kid all over said park. Same with the pool, beach, lake. YUCK. All while I am carrying Ryder around (who refuses to stand on his feet) Though I don't blame him why would the kid walk when everytime he stands he gets knocked down by his LOVING brothers....(input sarcasm) I told Jeff that we need the Costco swing set in the backyard so I NEVER have to leave. Then I can get into sewing and finally catch up on my scrapbooking.

I figure by the time I get Sawyer out of this stage then Ryder will start. SO if you don't see us for awhile I am done and becoming a shut in. So don't worry I haven't fallen off the wagon completely. At least not yet!

If only......

A graham cracker could make everyone this happy........

It's true he LOVES them. I go through a costco size box way too fast. But when it is that easy to make him happy how can you refuse????
