Celebrate!

January is huge for Birthday's in our family, almost every weekend we get to celebrate!! On Saturday we celebrated Grandma Jody and Aunt Shannon's birthday's. We went to Miguels and they gave us our own room which was great for the three trouble makers who are not restraunt friendly these days.

While waiting for our food we had fun taking pictures the kids were very patient!

Grandma Jody with her 4 Grandchildren. They were actually all hanging on her so we had to snap a picture of them. They love Grandma!!

We pretended we were on a date for about 5 minutes....then we were brought back to reality by the fifty bathroom trips and spills.

Aunt Lisa and Aunt Patrice they were brave enough to sit by us and the boys poor girls....the boys just love them.

Aunt Shannon, Kaitlyn, Grandma Jody, Grandma Connie, Patrice and me.

Me and my littlest cyclone.......he sure loves Mama. He is going to be in for a very rude awakening very soon....

The Heaton/Trapp group. Sadly we don't have very many group shots especially where everyone is looking!!

We had a great night. It was fun to get to celebrate with everyone!!

Christmas Day 2010

Santa came and boy oh boy do we have some happy kiddos around here!!!
The loot before.......... I thought for sure the boys would have us up at the crack of dawn they were excited. But they slept until 7!!! Which put me a little behind schedule for our 8 am family breakfast and it also explains why we have hardly any pictures :(

Noah was so excited when he opened his gift from Santa the at at walker from Star Wars. The thing is HUGE over 2ft tall. He was in heaven. And so was Daddy!!!

Santa always brings a little before breakfast treat of chocolate doughnuts.....Sawyer and Ryder were not about to open anything until the doughnuts were devoured!!

Jeff got me a cute necklace I had hinted at earlier in the week. I was shocked when I opened because I had only told him about it on Monday so I was not expecting it! It is a hand stamped necklace that says I love you more.....when I saw it I had to have it. Jeff and I have always said that to each other since we started dating over 10 years ago :)

Another BIG hit around here were the pillow pets. I spent a lot of time trying to talk the boys out of them because I thought they were silly. But they have LOVED them. Whoever came up with them and the infomercials are geniuses. Sawyer every time he wants it to go from a pillow to a pet says I want a cuddly animal now......yeah right out of the commercial!

After we opened our Santa gifts we had to scramble to get ready we had the Heaton/Trapp clan for Breakfast and celebrations. Breakfast I thought was SO yummy and I am still craving it. We had this yummy egg casserole my friend Kelly gave me the recipe for. French Toast with coconut syrup eggs and bacon. MMMMM!!! I got zero pictures I was too busy running around. I will have to steal some from Jeff's mom!!!
Noah showing off his new legos......

After we finished up with Jeff's family we headed out to Temecula to be with my family. My poor mom had to work until 12 so we got there just in time to have Christmas with them. The boys were in heaven playing dress up with the huge bin of costumes they got......sadly I was FAR to exhausted from days with zero sleep. I know why my mom always got strep throat right after Christmas it is a lot of work.....worth it. But I have never been so tired in all my life.
After gifts with them we went to Cari and Sam's so we could hang with the cousins and see the rest of my family. It was a nice day. We are so lucky to live so close to all of our families so we could see everyone. But it does make for an exhausting day. Luckily we had all day Sunday to rest and relax!!!

I asked the boys what there favorite gifts were of course they loved everything......
Noah: ATAT Walker and Tron Guy
Sawyer: Stinky, Fire truck
Ryder: Buzz toys and Car
Jeff: new razor.....although I know he is lying bc really who wants that for a gift :) I will say he LOVES his new Roku box! Gift cards!!
Abby......sunglasses and my new little green machine and my necklace
the boys have been so good the last few days playing so well together and loving all there new toys.
It was so cute today in the car Noah said he wanted to send Santa a thank you note because he was so happy it was so sweet so we will get to work on Thank you notes!!!
We are so blessed and have had another wonderful christmas!!!

FHE Christmas

We won't be able to go to the Neilson's Christmas day and either will Rob and Shannon so Grandma Jody and Grandpa Rich invited us over for dinner and family night. The boys love to be with everyone and it is always fun to spend Monday night together.
Trying to get a picture of the kiddos in there new clothes from Aunt Lisa.....Sawyer and Ryder were way more excited about the suckers that Nana gave them. These two would turn into candy if we would let them. Luckily they go to the dentist tomorrow!!! Cute little Kaitlyn.......she is SO mellow. I guess that is to be expected from being the only Grand daughter. She will go to anyone and just is happy as can be.....unless she see's Mom or Dad and then she wants them to save her.

Sawyer absolutely loves little Kaitlyn. He has so much fun playing with her. He is so sweet...I think he is definitely going to be the most nurturing with the new baby.
Aunt Lisa got the boys new flannel jammies. Noah LOVES his. He was like these are exactly what I wanted. He LOVES Pj's and changes as soon as he gets home from school. He loves the flannel Star Wars ones!!

Great Papa and Nana with a few of there Great Grand kids......Nana said she was counting up the upcoming babies and such and they are up to #70 in the family! So crazy. What an amazing legacy!

Papa Rich and Grandma Jody with there grand kids......Ryder and Sawyer couldn't be torn from there suckers! Hopefully we will get some better pictures Christmas morning!

It was a fun night. We will miss seeing everyone Christmas day but are so glad we could get together and celebrate the season with them!

San Diego Weekend Part One

We left Thursday afternoon for an extended weekend in San Diego with The Heaton/Trapp crew. First up on the agenda was the Dodger Padres Game. Petco park is such a cool
baseball park. I loved the city all in the background. I seriously LOVE San Diego.
We were completely outfitted for the big game! Thanks to Old Navy and Target. The
boys even got there first dodger hats.
The boys refused to give me a decent group shot!

Grandma Jody spent a lot of time of the phone making sure everything was perfect for our weekend. We were so lucky she called about seating. We were in the nice shade the entire time.

The highlight for Jeff and the boys was the foul ball Jeff caught! The boys were so excited!!!
The boys got a little restless after 2+ hours in the car and then the game. Luckily Ryder and Sawyer conked out on us in the 8th inning. The perfect cat nap.
It was a fun game even the Dodgers lost. It was worth it to check out the park.
I love day games. They are by far my favorite.
Now that we finally got to a baseball game it finally feels like summer!!!
More of our trip to come! But probably not for a few days.....the BIG move is upon us!

Fathers Weekend

We had a great weekend honoring all the Dad's in our lives. It was busy just the way the boys like it.

Noah started the weekend off by spending the night at Papa Pauls. He was so excited I even got him to take a nap on Friday.....score for me. Papa Paul picked him up on his way home from work. They had a great night grilling hamburgers, going to yogurt land and walking the dogs. The next morning Noah was up bright and early 6am lucky for us with out him here we all slept until 8. They headed to Target and for a doughnut run. Noah had a great time and wants to wear his Super Mario Bros. shirt everyday. Thanks Papa Paul for a fun sleepover Noah had a blast.

After Jeff picked up Noah Saturday morning we headed over to Grandma Jody's and Papa Rich's to celebrate Fathers day with them. They boys had a blast playing with Uncle Rob and Aunt Shannon in the pool. Which was great for us Ryder napped the whole time, Jeff has a double ear infection so it was nice to have some entertainment. And bonus for me I got to hold baby Kaitlyn for a quick nap!

Uncle Rob was helping the boys surf in the pool! We are looking forward to many many more BBQ's by the pool this summer. Thanks Grandma Jody and Grandpa Rich!
Saturday night we went out to dinner with Jeff's Dad and family. How did I not get any pictures?? Lets just say chasing three kids at dinner with two parents at less than 100% is a challenge.

Sunday the boys and I let Jeff sleep in and we made yummy cinnamon french toast and let Jeff open presents. In the afternoon we headed down to Temecula to spend time with them and see Aaron since he was home for a SHORT weekend.
All the Shaw's.......the last time we were all together was Christmas.......

Shaw kids.....

Happy Fathers day!

The boys and i are so lucky to have Jeff. He is an amazing Dad. He is such an awesome examples to our boys. We are so blessed! Hope all you fathers had a great day!!!

San Diego Getaway

On Friday we headed down to San Diego for a little weekend getaway with Jeff's family. I have come to realize that we don't go enough places as our children are NOT good travelers. We had a GREAT time despite the 3 hours of sleep each night. The boys were pretty good considering the had virtually NO sleep. This morning however the are making me pay for it. This is totally making me rethink the family reunion in Vegas in September. We will see. Here is a little recap I realize I took no pictures with Rob and Shannon or Grandpa and Grandma. But they were there and we had a fun time!!!!!

On Saturday it was all about Sea World. Noah was so excited to go to Sea World he even picked out his fishy shirt because he thought the fish would like it!

Touching Sting Rays.....definitley a highlight....and Jeff had never known this was there??

Ryder liked looking at the sharks he made the cutest whoa when he saw an animal.....

The polar bears....this is one of my FAVORITES at Sea World the Artic exibit is so nice and cool.....

More sting rays......

being a polar bear in the cave......

On Sunday we headed to El Indio for lunch with Grandpa and Grandma and then we headed down to Coronado to take the boys over the bridge get some of our favorite ice cream and walk on the beach! We had a great trip even with the LONG drive home!!!

Noah wanted to take mine and Jeff's picture.......

In front of the hotel Del.....

The boys were being so cute posing together on the rocks!

We had a great trip. We love being with our family and spending time together!!!

Oh and spell check isn't working right now so don't judge me :)
