Yes that's right folks I have entered a stage that has always driven me crazy. The WHY stage. Every two seconds I hear the word WHY? I am running out of cute clever answers and find myself saying because I am the boss. Which Noah proceeds with no I am the boss. I hope I can crack him of this and teach him a new word. Because I am the mom or the boss, is clearly the wrong response.

I am so sorry. I DREAD this phase. You don't want to turn into your parents, but I realize that in some things it is inevitable. You ARE the boss!
After giving an appropriate answer, I started asking them a question back. It seems to work most of the time.
When hunter was doing that I would say, well, why do you think, and then sometimes help with hints and stuff. Good luck!
Porter asked today why I boss him around all the time. I told him it was because I am the boss and he said no you're not--dad is! Just that you should know that pretty soon they get over the why's and think they have all the answers themselves.

I am in that same stage with Kendyl. Actually, she is kind of starting to come out of that phase. Oh what fun! I did the same and Autumn and would just say, "I don't know, why?" Because most of the questions that she would ask, I knew that she already knew the answer to. GOOD Luck! Patience...
Oh boy! I have entered that stage too. You gotta love it. When you find the perfect response, will you let me know?!
