My saving grace as a mom has always been my kids are AMAZING sleepers. They are in bed by 8......which makes for a nice At home date night for Jeff and I. We got some cupcakes and a movie from red box perfect night at home!

Early Celebration

After working all day Saturday to clean and fill up our dumpster Jeff and I went out for an early Valentines celebration. We went on a Gondola ride around Newport harbor. I told Jeff a year ago that I wanted to do this and I was so touched when he remembered. It was so fun to ride around the harbor looking at all the beautiful homes. The moon was extra bright and looked so beautiful.

Afterwards we went to Cheesecake Factory it was so yummy I LOVED the 30th anniversary cheesecake. It was a great date night!! Much needed!! Thanks babe for such a great a wonderful date!! And thanks Grandma and Grandpa for watching the boys so we could have a great night!!

Summer Date Night!

On Monday night Jody called and said she would watch the boys so we could go out on a date! Wahoo after a vacation it was MUCH needed. We went to CPK for some yummy salads. I love salads these days...and CPK's waldorf is absolutely my favorite anywhere! After dinner we headed down to Laguna Beach to visit the Sawdust Festival....



I haven't been but one other time and have been dying to go. I had gotten a toe ring three years ago but when I had Sawyer they had to cut it off before my c-section. So i have been dying to get back and get one! It was such a fun thing to do on a date. It was totally not crowded bc the pagent hasn't started yet....another thing Jeff and I really want to do this summer. We got to walk around ALL the booths and look as much as we wanted. It was so fun! I highly recomend it to everyone!

My toe ring...and of course my favorite summertime toe's! Sarah introduced me to the polka dots a few years ago....I love them in the summer time the just scream BEACH!!!

Disney Date!

This picture is how Noah poses for all pictures I have to remind him to open his eyes and then some how he opens his mouth. What a fun little guy!

I have been wanting to get back to Disneyland while it was all decorated. Jody offered to take Sawyer on Thursday and Noah and I headed to Disneyland on Thursday for a little day date. It was crazy crowded with all the people who were about to be blacked out but we still managed to go on It's a Small World and Pirates. We met up with Gavin and Lisa. Gavin was celebrating his 4th Birthday, they were nice enough to hang out with us for our two rides. Gavin was so cute he is usually so shy but he was just giddy with excitement! Ryder was a little freaked out by all the stuff and definitely had a little sensory overload. We had a great time, it was freezing so we grabbed some hot chocolate on our way out. Oh how I love hot chocolate. I refused to wait at the huge line at the carnation place but the little cart produced some great hot chocolate. I love hot chocolate. It was a great afternoon. Thanks Jody for keeping Sawyer!
