Pumpkin City

The week before Halloween Jenn and I took the kids to Pumpkin City. It was so much fun for the kiddos. I had a blast taking some ADORABLE pumpkin pictures of Rhys. I love that we have pictures of each of our kids here when the were babies! I love a cute pumpkin picture!!!

Pumpkin City

Sawyer's preschool class was scheduled to go to Pumpkin City a week earlier but with all the rain they had to cancel. Lucky for me I was able to go on the makeup day. I told Sawyer that I was going to meet his class at the pumpkin patch while we were eating breakfast. He told me in his wonderful three year old spunk....that he didn't want me to go and that I wasn't allowed. I was tempted to not go at all. But decided I better still go. Luckily I did Mrs. Sims said he was very excited for me to come and was talking about it all morning.....gotta love our Sawyer SO sweet yet SO sour. The kids LOVED looking at the animals, the pigs and ducks were definitely a favorite.

Mrs. Sims and Mrs. Shultz had these great coupons to use that got the kids each a ride and a pumpkin. Unfortunately they had expired by ONE day. The people at Pumpkin City were SO rude it was really a bummer because it totally turned me of to giving them any business. I offered to go pick up pumpkins at Trader Joes so we didn't waste any more money at Pumpkin City.

Mrs. Sims got all the kids tickets for the train....even Ryder they were so cute. A few of the kids were a little hesitant but had a great time!

Sawyer kept telling me he needed his sunglasses......

This age really is so cute......the kids are SO funny.

Sawyer had so much fun and I am so glad that Ryder and I got to go hang out with him!!!

Irvine Pumpkin Patch

Literallly last week was crazy. On Saturday we were kicked out of the house all day so we could get new carpet.....YAY!!!We invited the family to Irvine Regional Park. It was CRAZY crowded. We almost didn't go in but we were glad we did.....the boys had a blast!!!!!
Well except Ryder....he is a little small still so he doesn't get to participate in the jumpy houses and all that stuff for fear that he will get trampled. Trying to get a picture of the cousins.....Kaitlyn is going to be one VERY well protected little girl.

I have to get my baby girl fix somehow.......

I forgot my camera but Rob and Shannon were nice enough to take some for us.

I LOVE this one of Noah I can't believe how big he is getting!!

And then there is Sawyer......who is all about doing whatever I tell him NOT to do!!!!
We had a great family day. Now I need to get the rest of the house put back together.....seriously getting carpet is like moving....so worth it. But WOW lots of work!!!

Painting Pumpkins

Jeff and I haven't carved pumpkins in our whole married life. I guess I just have never been a fan of the huge mess and then the fact that they just rot. So when I saw this idea on a blog I knew it would be fun. We picked out pumpkins and painted them for family night on Monday. The boys loved it and thought it was so fun. Our plan is to do carving this year, but at least these give us something fun to look at!

Noah and his "scary" pumpkin.....

Sawyer calls his a pirate too.....

My self portrait pumpkin....haha

It was such a fun thing to do as a family. Definitely a tradition for our family.

What a week...

Seriously this has been my busiest week since Ryder was born....I am so exhausted.
Here are a few highlights from this crazy week....

On Wednesday we went to Disneyland, we met my Mom, Leslie, Cari and the boys we ahd a ton of fun. We also got to go on the new ride with Darci and Gwen. It was a horribly HOT day crazy HOT. But it was still fun and the boys loved it and that is all that really matters...
The boys just love putting on the 3D glasses.

Grammy, Porter and Ryder rode together!

Leslie wanted this for her blog she is so cute!!

Loving all the fall decor..

My very BEST Buzz score yet..and no I won't reveal my secrets...

Today we went with some of our friends to the Irvine Regional Park pumpkin patch...we went there a few weeks ago but it was still fun to get out and be with our friends.

We rod the train....

When we sat down to have lunch there were tons of yellow jackets swarming us...I didn't think they stung and they were more just swarming and a little annoying...until one landed on Sawyer's sandwich while he was eating it...I grabbed the sandwich and the bee flew onto his lip, fearing that he was about to eat it I tried to shoo it away and then the little booger stung him on his lip!! I hope bee's really die after the sting. He was very brave and got over it very quickly. Thankfuly we now know he is not allergic but it did give him a fat lip...thanks to my mom/nurse friends for helping me to remain calm and tell me what to look for.
Here are some attempts at getting a shot of the fat lip!

An attempt at getting the two of them to smile!

Brody and Sawyer had fun jumping on the hay!!

Me and my sweet boys...I just love them!!

All the kids loved playing in the pile of pumpkins!
