San Diego Part 4

I promise this is the last of the never ending post.

Sunday we said Goodbye to Coronado. Before heading home we
stopped at the Church's Mormon Battalion Museum.
It was so neat definitely a must see. I love the way they tell the story through a few members of the battalion
it made it come to life. I can't wait to go back again.
At the end they take your group picture and then you get to go outside and pan for gold
build with bricks and pump water.

It was a great time. I am so glad that we were able to go and do this together.
If you are ever in San Diego it is free and it will not disappoint!!!

San Diego Part 3

Saturday we spent the day on Coronado Island. It was nice to hang out and relax. First up was to rent bikes! I have wanted to rent these bikes for a long time. The boys were a little sad that they couldn't do the pedals. Maybe in a few years. Luckily we had Leslie and Patrice to help us pedal. It was exhausting.

After the bike ride we had lunch and then headed down to the pool. The pool was SO warm it was heavenly. We stayed for many many hours. Noah and Sawyer are doing so great with swimming Ryder HATES the water and refuses to get in.

We then went to a yummy burger place and walked around the Hotel Del. The boys LOVED playing in the sand, the sand is so soft and fine by the hotel.

This is the view from our room. It was absolutely beautiful. Especially at night when you could see down town San Diego.

We ended the night at our favorite Moo Time. So yummy. It was a great fun day! And we were exhausted by the time we got back to the rooms.

San Diego Part 2

Friday morning we went to the San Diego Zoo. We met Aunt Heidi, Taylee and David.
It was a great day. The boys LOVED the zoo. We researched some animals before
we went down there so we were excited to see some of the great animals they have.
These are in reverse order but hey:
This was at the Polar Bear Plunge. The boys loved
playing in the helicopter.

Lions were all Noah could talk about. Sawyer and Ryder kept
calling them Lion King. It was very cute.
Here is the only family picture we got that day.....

Noah was very excited to see the leopard. It kept following him back and forth
up against the glass.

Posing with baby Kaitlyn. Ryder was in a mood all day
he was not happy to share with her.
Sawyer relaxing at the polar bear plunge.....

Ryder LOVED the animals. Especially the Elephants. They have done such
a great job with the exhibit. Definitely worth the walking!

The kids had fun posing on every single statue that they could find.
The little boys loved the foot massager and tried to get daddy to put
quarters in one every time they found one.

David, Noah and Taylee's turn

Group shot minus Papa Rich, me and Ryder (who was throwing a hideous fit)

It was a fun day. We took the boys back to the pool
and wore them out big time. That night we left Leslie
with the boys and went out to dinner with all the adults.
It was fun to go out and have adult conversation and celebrate
Rich and Jody's anniversary!

San Diego Weekend Part One

We left Thursday afternoon for an extended weekend in San Diego with The Heaton/Trapp crew. First up on the agenda was the Dodger Padres Game. Petco park is such a cool
baseball park. I loved the city all in the background. I seriously LOVE San Diego.
We were completely outfitted for the big game! Thanks to Old Navy and Target. The
boys even got there first dodger hats.
The boys refused to give me a decent group shot!

Grandma Jody spent a lot of time of the phone making sure everything was perfect for our weekend. We were so lucky she called about seating. We were in the nice shade the entire time.

The highlight for Jeff and the boys was the foul ball Jeff caught! The boys were so excited!!!
The boys got a little restless after 2+ hours in the car and then the game. Luckily Ryder and Sawyer conked out on us in the 8th inning. The perfect cat nap.
It was a fun game even the Dodgers lost. It was worth it to check out the park.
I love day games. They are by far my favorite.
Now that we finally got to a baseball game it finally feels like summer!!!
More of our trip to come! But probably not for a few days.....the BIG move is upon us!
