LONGEST week ever!!!!

First I must say Happy Fathers day! I am so lucky to have Jeff as the father of my boys. He is the most patient person I know! He has really gone above and beyond this week. I wish I could give him the fathers day he really deserves. I promise we will celebrate in a few weeks!!!!
Happy Fathers day to my Dad and Grandpa. I am so lucky to have such wonderful examples and great priesthood holders in my life. But mostly I am glad that my boys have such wonderful men to look up to and aspire to be like. Hope you all have an amazing day!!!

Well it has been a REALLY long week. On Sunday night in the middle of the night I woke up to horrible back pain. I couldn't sleep at all. By morning the pain was so bad I was throwing up. Jeff decided to take a vacation day Monday. He took Noah and Sawyer to Disneyland. I guess it was horribly crowded because it was one of the last days for our pass. Either way I am glad that got to have some fun. I headed to urgent care to try and get some relief for my back I thought I threw out. I went home with some fantastic drugs and muscle relaxers.

Monday night in the middle of the night I woke up with a horrible pain in my right side under my ribs. I thought I might die. This just happens to be the same pain that sent me to the ER when I was prego with Ryder. Tuesday I headed into the dr. telling them I thought I had gallstones. They said I was too young and it was probably an ulcer. After I told him my mom had gall bladder surgery at 35 he thought they should do an ultrasound. After the ultrasound they found 20 gall stones. The tech she had NEVER seen so many and was surprised I could even walk. Thanks high pain tolerance.

Wednesday I met with the surgeon. To my disappointment they said that I needed to schdedule the surgery in 4-6 weeks. I was so frustrated and totally cried on the way home. I was in the most horrible pain. Really I didn't know how I could live with this pain. And then have surgery and have to deal with that and the boys.

Wednesday was a long night and Thursday morning I was throwing up again and dying in pain. Jeff I think had enough of seeing me so upset that he called his mom and took me to the ER. They got me in very fast. The nurse was nice and immediately got me started on an IV and pain meds. They were wonderful. They did another ultrasound and the ER dr. told me that they were going to admit me because my gall bladder was starting to get infected. Then a few minutes later they decided to go ahead and do the surgery. It all happened so fast and I remember them prepping me. Then I woke up startled and I was in recovery. I hate being put under it is the freakiest thing. I hate not having control.

I came home friday afternoon and have been pretty out of it since. Today is the first day I can sit up and really carry on a conversation. I hope that the worst is over and that this next week goes by faster. I just want to be better and get on with summer.

Thanks to all our family and friends who have and are helping us. I hate having to ask for help and have been so blessed.

I just want to say DITO to what Autumn said, I couldn't have said it better.

I am so glad the ER was great, sometimes you never know, I just heard all the crap of my SIL in the ER and how crappy they were to her. What hospital were you in?

We are excited to have Sawyer come and play on Tuesday! I will bring you yummy treats!

I'm glad they were able to do the surgery quickly (instead of waiting 4-6 weeks!), and that you're doing well. We love you!

I'm sorry you've had a long week. You are such an amazing mommy, wife and person and such a great example to me. I was looking through some old papers the other day and ran across a note you wrote me when we were at BYU-I. Thank you so much for being such a great friend and for listening to the spirit. I hope you feel better soon. Love ya!
