Sawyer's Celebration.....

We celebrated Sawyers first birthday for a week. We started with my family at Sunday dinner on my Birthday and continued Wednesday at Chuck E Cheese and then went to dinner Saturday with Jeff's Dad and fam. and then finally finished on Sunday with the Neilson clan. What a lucky boy! He had a great time and was very spoiled by all!!

Easter was a great day, we were all not feeling very well but still managed to have a decent day. We made it to Jeff's Mom's to celebrate with the Neilson side of the family. It was a fun afternoon and we even got to celebrate one more time Sawyer's Birthday. I promise to post those pictures soon.

Easter Bunny and still a stupid cold....

Yesterday while visiting Fashion Island with Grandma Jody and Aunt Patrice we took the boys to see the Easter Bunny. They were very excited and the picture turned out so very cute!!!

Today the boys were invited to an Easter party. The pictures really were not that excited, I think my cold prevented me from caring about taking pictures. The boys had a fun time and even though we are still getting over colds it was nice to get out for a few minutes and enjoy some company. Hopefuly by Sunday we will be feeling a little better so we can enjoy this nice weekend. I hate being sick when I am pregnant....I like medicine when I am sick. Someone please invent medicine you can take while pregnant that actually works, sorry Tylenol you are lame and basiclly worthless at this point.

Fun to be One!!!

Happy Birthday Sawyer!!! I can't even believe that you are one already!!! I feel like this year has just flown by. I wish I had old pictures on this computer to show how little he was when he was born. He is getting so big!!!

Here are some things that Sawyer enjoys these days....


1. He still loves to EAT....he loves waffles for breakfast, he loves in-n-out hamburgers and just discovered whole milk and loves it!
2. He loves his Daddy, when Jeff leaves every morning he just gets so sad and stands at the door calling his name. He gets very upset it Jeff doesn't say hello to him first when he gets home.
3. He is very loud when he wants to be, he recently discovered his voice, and uses it to scream whenever he wants something.
4. He loves his Brother, it so cute to see his face light up whenever he enters the room. He wants to do everything that he does and loves to wrestle.
5. He loves to crawl and he is getting pretty fast. He stands very well and has taken a few steps.

6. He loves music and gets very excited when we listen to music in the car.
7. He loves to sleep, he still takes two very long naps and sleeps very well at night.
8. He has the cutest strawberry blonde hair, and it is still growing in that color.
9. He is still the sweetest happiest baby.
10. He has the cutest chubby cheeks and little rolls on his legs...it is so cute!!!

Easter Eggs....

Last night we celebrated St. Patrick's Day at Jeff's mom's, every year she makes corn beef and cabbage. I had never really tried it before, not a favorite but that could be pregnancy related. We had a huge feast with lots of food and entertainment....thanks to the boys! After dinner we dyed Easter eggs. I am so glad that we did them over at there house with more adults to help manage Noah.

It was fun, Noah liked to throw the eggs into the dye which required a little bit of patience. Here are how our eggs turned out....


And we picked a name for the next Trapp boy..............

All in all it was a great way to spend family night! Also I had a wonderful birthday weekend, thank you to everyone for making it an extra special weekend!!!

Yes it is PERMANENT!!!!

Jeff wonders why there are days I don't even get to shower.....here is an example of why even a 2-5 minute shower can be a total disaster.....






And no it has not come all the way off. I think it may be there for a few weeks even after I washed it off 15 times!!

Bowl O Rama....

A Bowling Birthday......

This weekend we celebrated Papa Irch's Birthday. We went bowling. I was a little nervous how the boys would do. Sawyer was not his usual self and was very very grumpy. Noah loved bowling he managed to last two games and did pretty well. It was a really fun time and Noah is already asking if we can go again!

Pictures Finally.....

Wow I am lame....very lame at posting pictures....It was a VERY long week last week. But I am happy to report all is well again. Noah and Sawyer got to have some much needed Grandma time with my mom and Jeff's mom, they were very sweet to come to my aid when I was feeling horrible last week!!! Thanks for spoiling them as only Grandma's can do.
What we have been up to....
Noah....is becoming much more understandable in the talking department. Which is very helpful to people who are not around him 24-7 like me. His new passsion right now are bubbles...I found this great bubble machine at the store and he loves it and it is the best ten dollars I have spent in a long time. After weeks and weeks of stealing any pacifer he can get his hands on...I caved...I gave him a broken one that I cut. I don't even think he sucks on it but he is happy to have it and no longer takes hours to go to bed. He loves his brother and is very happy to bug and wrestle him at any chance he gets.
Sawyer.....is as usual always happy! He loves food still and really has not met anything he doesn't like. He loves his Daddy and just sits at the front door calling his name all day long. He is getting lots and lots of teeth and has started biting which may come in handy when he is being attacked by his brother. He is trying desperately to walk but really can't get enough space to go about his business. He loves to be outside and play with all the big kids.
Jeff....is just barely starting busy season. In what little spare time that he has he plays with the boys, takes care of me and maybe gets in an occasional basketball game on TV or maybe even some Golf on the Xbox.
Me....after last week I am trying to get back in the swing cleaning house, I am definitly feeling a need to do a lot of spring cleaning around here. I am hoping to get in some much needed scrapbooking with the late nights Jeff will be having. Baby is doing good....he is still nameless and still a boy. The Dr. one day last week told me it was a girl but took that back the next day...my mom keeps teasing that it might be one of those babies that you had when you where a kid...flip over a boy and over for a girl. Maybe she is right. Or twins??? I wish..well not really but it would be nice to get one of each. We are loving this warmer weather and feeling great these days!!!
