It's hard to believe........

Years ago Jeff and I were married. It seems like the years are flying by! (is that a good thing?)
I keep thinking someday we will get sick of eachother.....but really I like him more now than I ever thought possible.

I can't wait to see what the rest of our lives together bring!

I love you J. Nobody knows me and gets me better than you. Thanks for giving me the greatest love story and the worlds cutest boys! I love you!!!

1 to the 8

Today marks Ryder's eighteen month! I can't believe he is that old. I am so sad that my "baby" is more over a toddler now! This stage is always a hard one for me and it is especially hard this time because I just got one out of this stage like a minute ago!

Things I love about Ryry

*when he dances it is so cute because he hasn't figured out how to move his feet yet.

* He can finally walk and uses it as his primary mode of transportation.

* He LOVES his Daddy and walks around looking for him all day

* He loves to cuddle...please oh please don't let that change!

* He copies EVERYTHING his big brothers do EVERYTHING

*He loves nursery and could really careless about sacrament meeting.

* He doesn't have stranger anxiety yet and will pretty much go to anyone

* He is a great sleeper!

* He loves his bottle and his blankie!

I can't even imagine our life without our sweet baby boy!!

Because there are moments like these....

Being a Mom is a roller coaster of ups and downs. Hard days and fabulous days. this photo was a few weeks ago. Sawyer wanted to cuddle. He has been horribly hard lately, but just when I think I might loose it, he does the cutest, kindest thing, which reminds me that he has a pure little heart and yes we have some work to do, but it's not in vain and it will take work. I am so lucky to be here everyday to witness every moment!

This is Halloween

Halloween is so much fun! I love that I have these cute boys to dress up, and especially love that I have a fun husband who is willing to get in on the fun!!!

We celebrated with a fun ward Trunk or Treat activity. I will admit I was a little annoyed at first that it was on Halloween but it was a ton of fun. And given the week of sickness we had around here it worked out well because the kids didn't even have ask to go out once we were home! Bonus for us! (Jeff had homework and I had 80 invites and 4 posters to make for RS)

My cute little Sawyer, he is such a fun/trying child. His nursery leader said it best today he is either Dr. Jekyll or Mr. Hyde. Sugar or Spice. Today was not one of his best days in nursery, Jeff and I have decided to spend our Sundays taking turns, I REFUSE to be the mother of the bully!

Captain Noah....he has been such a big help to me lately. He is so happy and sweet, he cares about people and loves to be around his friends. He tells me everyday I look pretty and that he loves me, it melts my heart every time! He is a great big brother and loves and protects them always!

I love my family!!

Mama and Son Pirates.....

My friend Lisa's little girl Caitlin. Lisa even added a bow to the cow costume!!! She is a girl after my own heart...I carried her around she is such a sweetie!!!

Noah and his friend Scotty from church and on his soccer team.

We had such a fun time! I can't wait for next year!

Today kicks of National Blog Month. So like last year I will be posting everyday in Nov. I loved it last year, I love looking back!!! You should join in too!!!

Terrible!! Terrific Twos????

Intervention PLEASE!!!!!!

I have got a monster on my hands.............

And although he is the cutest monster ever.....still.

It has been a rough month or so with Sawyer. Since I had my surgery someone is in desperate need of attention and he is going to get it one way or the other. And in my defense I try to give him the positive attention but obviously is not enough. I am at my breaking point......why might you ask......

Two weeks ago while Cari and the boys were visiting Sawyer bit Carter, Porter and Noah in the span of an hour so I washed his mouth out with soap. About twenty minutes later Jeff got home and asked me where Sawyer was I had just seen him/punished him I told him he was playing with the other boys. Jeff was like no he isn't. So we began searching the house. We have a great front yard with a gate that I put a padlock on so we THOUGHT he couldn't get out we spent a good ten minutes searching the house, yard, car, garage. NO Sawyer....cue panic. We started checking with the neighbors when a lady drove by asking if we were missing a little red head. He was about to streets over walking in the middle of the street with no shoes on. Seriously I can't even think of everything that could have happened to him it makes me sick. We did figure out where he was making his great escape and have remedied the situation.

That is ONE of the big incidents and then the rest is normal two year old stuff, total frustration no fear ....blah blah blah.

Until last night. I was talking with a friend from chuch who serves in nursery we got to talking about Sawyer she was like well besides the day he slapped me in the face he does pretty well. I was like wait what..the ????? I always ask how he did....she said it was weeks ago? I am guessing when I was not going to church from surgery???? Seriously I have the kid that leaders see walking in like dang he is here today. I am panicked I have never wanted the bully kid and now he is bullying the leaders?????

And then today.....I was in the bathroom I came out to find Sawyer standing in the kitchen spitting out white stuff. I quickly realized what he had eaten.....my antibiotics for my sinus infection. WAIT before you call CPS it was in the cupboard he used a step stool to get on to the trash can then onto the counter. I swear I couldn't have been gone three minutes. I quickly counted the pills and then subtracted the doses I have taken there was only one pill missing he spit the bite out and put the other half back in the bottle. I called poison control just to be safe. And then gave him a talking to.

We have to tie the fridge and kitchen gate closed with a tie so that he can't get into them. Oh and not to mention he comes out of his bed atleast three times a night.

Nothing fazes him, spanking, time out, washing his mouth out with soap. Nothing.
I am so done. He has such a fun spirit is so cuddly and I just wish I could give him the attention he needs. Jeff and I are going to try taking him on a "date" to see if that helps but seriously. Am I just a really bad mom. I ask myself daily. I just don't know how to get through to him. He is going send me to the mental hospital from all the anxiety.

Summer Date Night!

On Monday night Jody called and said she would watch the boys so we could go out on a date! Wahoo after a vacation it was MUCH needed. We went to CPK for some yummy salads. I love salads these days...and CPK's waldorf is absolutely my favorite anywhere! After dinner we headed down to Laguna Beach to visit the Sawdust Festival....

I haven't been but one other time and have been dying to go. I had gotten a toe ring three years ago but when I had Sawyer they had to cut it off before my c-section. So i have been dying to get back and get one! It was such a fun thing to do on a date. It was totally not crowded bc the pagent hasn't started yet....another thing Jeff and I really want to do this summer. We got to walk around ALL the booths and look as much as we wanted. It was so fun! I highly recomend it to everyone!
I just love him......

My toe ring...and of course my favorite summertime toe's! Sarah introduced me to the polka dots a few years ago....I love them in the summer time the just scream BEACH!!!

BIG Thanks!

When we moved to Orange County two years ago I thought I might die....or kill my husband. (But that is a whole other story) Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would be so blessed and so loved.
I have the very best group of friends. I can't believe how many of them have run to my aid this past week. It is so comforting to have people offer to come and pick up my kids and play with them while I am obviously out of it. And bringing TONS of food....seriously I don't think they have EVER eaten so well. I am so beyond touched. I am the worst patient ever because I HATE having to admit that I just can't do it on my own. I guess Heavenly Father was looking out for us two years ago when he brought us here. Besides friends I also have the BEST Mom and Mom in law. They have gone above and beyond the call of duty! They are the best examples of selfless love and service!
THANKS EVERYONE!!!! Seriously much love to all of you!!!
Hopefully we will be getting out this week and enjoying some of this GLORIOUS weather!
And if this doesn't bring a smile to your face.....my baby is getting WAY to big!!!!

Six Celebration

Before all the craziness of last week we got a chance to celebrate our six year anniversary. Jeff's mom was nice enough to watch all the boys all day so we could have a much needed day off. We headed down to Laguna to walk around and hang out. We love it down there it totally reminds us of our dating days!

After Laguna we of course had to make a Sprinkles run. mmmmm!! Jeff is so good to me.

That evening we had reservations at Trabuco Oaks Steak House. It was really yummy and they even brought us a cute sundae because we were celebrating our anniversary. We exchanged gifts....we don't do much for these days but I think we were both happy I got Jeff Punch Out for the Wii and Jeff got me a subsription to People which I am so happy with! After dinner we went to see a sneak preview of the Proposal. It was HILARIOUS. I have not laughed that long in a REALLY long time.

Thanks Jeff for a wonderful day I am so lucky to be married to you!!!!

Why I love being a Mom......

I love being a mom....and really I know that most people on this blog won't believe that but I do. I complain....I need to work on that sorry all my friends at the park today. Please still love me. I am working on it. Anyway I had a great fabulous weekend. Full of mom's and FULL of love!

On Thursday I had my first Mothers luncheon with Noah. It was so cute. They sang some little songs. It was a very fun afternoon.

Then on Saturday we went out to celebrate with Jeff's mom. We went to a yummy breakfast, had some sprinkles cupcakes and lots of fun!
I had the boys make Jody this apron...it turned out very precious.

Jeff, Patrice, Grandma Jody and the boys.

The group for breakfast!

Mothers day morning all ready for church.

On Sunday I was spoiled rotten I got a pretty necklace and a sweet card. We then headed out to Temecula my Mom gave a great talk. Thanks again mom for all the sweet things you said. Easter Wrap Up

I love Easter! Not only for the fabulous candy, tulips, new clothes the promise of spring BUT I love the chance to celebrate our Savior. I am so grateful to have this knowledge and the joy that it brings!

We began our Easter last weekend with the Shaw's Grammy and Grammpy sent the boys home with some cute baskets...the boys have loved playing with their stuff. Noah loved his mickey mouse go fish and has made me play it every day. And their buckets came in handy for the rest of the weeks festivities. Thanks! We missed you guys today!
We had a great time this weekend. Yesterday we went with the Trapp's/Lewis gang to an Easter Egg hunt and then dinner. I pulled out my camera to take pics and I had left the memory card in the lap top. Luckily my phone takes a decent picture.
The egg hunt was crazy. I have NEVER seen so many eggs they had different hunts for different ages. Patrice took Sawyer around and Sawyer dug it....Patrice couldn't get him to stop and he even tried to ditch her a few times.

Get ready get set......

Noah was so excited this morning and woke us all at 5:45, letting us know the bunny had came. He got the Starscream transformer and has been loving it ever since! He was almost asleep on the couch this afternoon when Jeff said starscream is asleep Noah heard him and grabbed it and put it on his chest. It was so funny. Another big hit was the flip flops and sunglasses. The Easter Bunny knew we need to get ready for Hawaii!!!! Two weeks!

Sawyer is just like Jeff and he was less then thrilled to be up that early. He woke up on the wrong side of the bed and refused to take a picture.

Ryder was happy with the ribbon and eggs.

We had a great breakfast together with a visit from Uncle Rob and Aunt Shannon who brought the boys really cute spiderman and cars Easter baskets. The boys were thrilled with character fruit snacks!!
We then headed off to church. I loved the boys Easter outfits....even though they refused to take a picture for me. SOMEDAY!!

We ended the day with dinner and then went to Jeff's Uncle and Aunt's house for dessert. It was fun to spend time with family and be together. It is so much fun having kids and sharing all this stuff with them. It makes me so happy.
