Last Day

Every year when school comes to an end I get sad......sad because it means my kids are getting older, I have to entertain them, and the routine!

Sawyer has loved preschool this year and is really going to miss his teachers this year!

Mrs. Shultz and Mrs. Sims despite the look on his face he really does LOVE both of these teachers and is going to miss them.

I love this preschool and I am so glad that we are going to be going there for many many years!!!

Mothers Day Celebrations

By far my favorite thing about Mothers Day is celebrating with my little boys at school.

Thursday I went to a Luncheon with Sawyer put on by his preschool. They do such a cute lunch and I love spending time with him and his friends and hearing about his day to day activities. We had a yummy lunch made a craft and the kids sang.......

On Friday Noah's kindergarten class put on a cute mothers day fashion show. It was so fun to spend time with him and see him so excited to show me the things he made.

It was a great start to Mothers Day weekend. I so needed this day like I said in my last post these last few months have been rough. It was nice to be able to be reminded of why I do this and that I love my family very much. Although it is a huge challenge I wouldn't trade being there mom for anything!

Tag Team

That's exactly what these two are doing to me. It's moments when they look like this that save me from locking them outside in the rain........ They must have been exhausted from destroying the house.

Between nursing, pumping and all the other Mom stuff there is a lot of down time for these two to trash the place. And boy are they doing a good job.

I was telling Jeff I am so tired of things being broken or ruined from them.....It will end right??

This weeks tally:

*car door no longer opens from the inside

*stickers covering car windows

*crayon on two new walls

*dumped an entire bottle of baby powder on the freshly mopped floor

*crumbled an entire package of hawaiian rolls and then threw them in the trash

* they ate have a costco size container of strawberries

Not to mention the day to day messes.....these kids have no clue how to eat and get food everywhere I can't wait for it to be a bit warmer so they can eat outside every night. Bathroom covered in pee and tooth paste. Ryder keeps stripping down and peeing everywhere....I need to potty train him but seriously I can't even imagine adding that into the mix right now.

Ugh....mostly it isn't even noon yet. It is going to be a LONG day!!

You've had Birthday.....

On Sunday it was all about SAWYER all day!! He choose a yummy breakfast of french toast......
Then he opened presents.....he was very happy with Stinky's friend Rocky and his electric guitar.

After church Grammy, Grampy and Leslie came down they brought dinner and dessert. It was so nice to not have to worry about dinner or anything!!

Sawyer was freaking out a little when the candles started melting!

I can't believe Sawyer is 4!! He has been such a good helper with the new baby. He is sweet and sassy all rolled into one. We can't imagine our family with out his sweet fun personality!

It's rough being the middle child.......this is proof...... Sawyer has suddenly picked up sucking his thumb. It drives me crazy. I was hoping it was just a one or two day thing but nope. I am still entertaining ideas of what to do. I know he is doing it because of the recent craziness and the baby on the way but still. And for the record I have NO problem with the self soothing I just think it is a little strange for him to pick this up almost 2 years after not having a pacifier.

The weather has been amazing! The boys live in our back yard.....I LOVE it! Even better Sawyer has learned to swing all by himself!!!

This boy LOVES his pillow pet. So much that the first one got a hole so I returned it to Target 2nd time around he got a bumble bee. Even if he did want the lady bug or purple unicorn.

This face perfectly describes how he felt about starting Sunbeams today. He literally screamed and threw a fit. Jeff took video.....I will have to try and upload it. When asked why he wanted to go to Nursery.....he wanted snack. It's cruel that they don't let teachers bring stuff. Just plain cruel. Hopefully next week is a bit better!

Polar Express Comes to Town......

Last Thursday Sawyer had his preschool party. It was so cute they all came in there PJ's and read the Polar Express. When the parents came they were all lined up in the train to sing songs to the parents!!

It was so cute. I have never seen Sawyer stay in one place for very long......I think mommy may ask Santa for a huge box for each of them this year!!!

This is so not related to this but.......I had to document Ryder and his sour cream. He loves the stuff. He asks for either cream or ketchup with almost every meal!!

Sawyer's Feast

Sawyer had a Thanksgiving party at school last week. He is so funny I wasn't driving to school that day he was going with our carpool friend Emma. I asked him before he left if he wanted me to come see him sing songs. He told me yes......Once I got there he was NOT happy to see me. He cried and was NOT happy to not be going home with Emma. I was sad because singing and performing is his FAVORITE part of school. I am sad I ruined it for him that day. But I am sure he would have been upset if I hadn't shown up. You just can't win with the three year old.

Sawyer has been giving me a lot of challenges lately. He has a really hard time listening. He is so cute and cuddly but can be such a stink bug sometimes! He is so SMART!!!! Definitely too smart for his own good.

A couple of weeks ago I got a phone call from his school they told me that he had an accident and wanted me to come get him. It wasn't my day to drive but it sounded like he wanted me to come so I did. I get down to the school and he wasn't wet maybe a teeny tiny bit. When he got in the car he was like did you bring me McDonalds? I was like seriously?? I asked him about it and why he told them he was wet and he was like I wanted you to take me to lunch. I was trying not to laugh. I mean serioulsy what three year old comes up with that.

Another thing he did this week was on the way home from the Thanksgiving party he mashed up a couple of gold coin chocolates and had rubbed them all over his hands and face. When I looked up in the mirror while driving I was like oh my goodness Sawyer why would you waste all that yummy chocolate....he said I told you I wanted to go home with Emma. Seriously kid.....your killing me.

It is so crazy to me how quickly the sweet cute loving boy can switch to a firey temper. The things he says are just hilarious.

Pumpkin City

Sawyer's preschool class was scheduled to go to Pumpkin City a week earlier but with all the rain they had to cancel. Lucky for me I was able to go on the makeup day. I told Sawyer that I was going to meet his class at the pumpkin patch while we were eating breakfast. He told me in his wonderful three year old spunk....that he didn't want me to go and that I wasn't allowed. I was tempted to not go at all. But decided I better still go. Luckily I did Mrs. Sims said he was very excited for me to come and was talking about it all morning.....gotta love our Sawyer SO sweet yet SO sour. The kids LOVED looking at the animals, the pigs and ducks were definitely a favorite.

Mrs. Sims and Mrs. Shultz had these great coupons to use that got the kids each a ride and a pumpkin. Unfortunately they had expired by ONE day. The people at Pumpkin City were SO rude it was really a bummer because it totally turned me of to giving them any business. I offered to go pick up pumpkins at Trader Joes so we didn't waste any more money at Pumpkin City.

Mrs. Sims got all the kids tickets for the train....even Ryder they were so cute. A few of the kids were a little hesitant but had a great time!

Sawyer kept telling me he needed his sunglasses......

This age really is so cute......the kids are SO funny.

Sawyer had so much fun and I am so glad that Ryder and I got to go hang out with him!!!

Go Stingers!!

Today Noah and Sawyer had there first soccer game of the season. They have been so excited all week about it and are so happy to finally be able to play!! Because we have both of them this year playing I begged Jeff to coach them. He agreed and being that he is all about baseball he did a great job. It is going to be a LONG season for me keeping track of all three when they aren't playing is going to be A LOT of work. Especially Ryder he is not fun to deal with at things like this. It is so crazy to see how much more into it Noah and his friends are this year!!!

Sawyer's BIG day

Sawyer has been waiting MONTHS to start preschool. He has been so excited. He was thrilled to go and pick up his bucket and then decorate it with his favorite stickers like he has watched Noah the last two years. Every year Mrs. Sims has them bring something special to the first day of school, this day it was a heart that they decorated with pictures and there favorite things. Sawyer was sad that he couldn't bring it home but was very excited to see it hanging up on Thursday.

Thursday they read a story and made a cute puppet he has been obsessed with it ever since then he wanted to feed it string cheese and read books to Petals the puppet. Until Ryder ripped poor Petals.....Sawyer was devasted.

Sawyer says his favorite things are playing and painting. It is so going to be a great year!!

Sawyer is such a crack up! I can't believe he is THREE!! He is such a little man and we have so much fun with him!! Sawyer at three.......

At 2!!!

First Birthday.......

6 Months.......

Burfday!!

Another year older!! Tuesday I turned the big 28. I am getting far too close to thirty! The actual day was a LONG day with the boys, but I felt so loved! Thanks all for the messages and phone calls!

That night we celebrated Me, Sawyer and Patrice's Burfday's with family.

Grandma Jody got the boys matching shirts that said my Mom rocks. I love having my boys all matchy and it is much harder these days! The two Burfday girls!!
