Palm Springs
Saturday after the 5k, Jeff and I headed to Palm Springs for a MUCH needed vacation sans children. Thanks Grammy and Grampy for taking ALL three and planning such fun stuff....the boys are still talking about sleeping in the fort.

As you can see I got a little bored on the way....I couldn't help it not having children to comfort or take care of made me giddy with excitement!

While in Palm Springs.......
We consumed 5 hot meals....no cutting no spilling just me and my food...it was good.
Saw a Movie....All About Steve....wasn't the greatest but still nice to get out.
Shopped.....I love that Jeff will shop with me especially when he needs stuff
Played with our new iPhones....seriously we probably looked like total nerds.
Read books
Got almost 12 hours of straight UN-interrupted sleep
Browsed Borders....like the good old Provo days
We had a GREAT little weekend. It was so nice not to worry about the boys and relax and have a great time and having Jeff all to myself...especially since he is super busy with work and school this week.

ITCH!!!!!
Excuse the nasty picture. But this just has to be documented. This morning I woke up and I was itchy. I told Jeff I felt like that one time when I had hives. He turned on the lights. And yep HIVES! The last time it was caused by penicillin this time another antibiotic for a sinus infection. It itches soooo bad. Jeff went out and got me benedryl. I took some BIG mistake I was so exhausted and it didn't take the itch away. The Dr. said to drink lots of fluids but it could take a few days to get rid of them.
I had to go down to the Scout Shop for pack meeting awards. This is something I dread every month it is a HUGE task and three kids does not help. When I got there the usual guy wasn't there so I had to wander around the store with three kids in horrible itchy pain. Afterwards I met Jeff for lunch, he was like you look worse and I said that is because I had a stressful morning. People were staring at me like I had a rare disease. This has been a very LONG week. I am SO glad tomorrow is Friday.
I am so itchy. Even my eyebrows itch. It is the worst on my back and tummy. I can't wait for these suckers to go away!!!

Six Celebration
Before all the craziness of last week we got a chance to celebrate our six year anniversary. Jeff's mom was nice enough to watch all the boys all day so we could have a much needed day off. We headed down to Laguna to walk around and hang out. We love it down there it totally reminds us of our dating days!

After Laguna we of course had to make a Sprinkles run. mmmmm!! Jeff is so good to me.

That evening we had reservations at Trabuco Oaks Steak House. It was really yummy and they even brought us a cute sundae because we were celebrating our anniversary. We exchanged gifts....we don't do much for these days but I think we were both happy I got Jeff Punch Out for the Wii and Jeff got me a subsription to People which I am so happy with! After dinner we went to see a sneak preview of the Proposal. It was HILARIOUS. I have not laughed that long in a REALLY long time.

Thanks Jeff for a wonderful day I am so lucky to be married to you!!!!

LONGEST week ever!!!!

First I must say Happy Fathers day! I am so lucky to have Jeff as the father of my boys. He is the most patient person I know! He has really gone above and beyond this week. I wish I could give him the fathers day he really deserves. I promise we will celebrate in a few weeks!!!!
Happy Fathers day to my Dad and Grandpa. I am so lucky to have such wonderful examples and great priesthood holders in my life. But mostly I am glad that my boys have such wonderful men to look up to and aspire to be like. Hope you all have an amazing day!!!
Well it has been a REALLY long week. On Sunday night in the middle of the night I woke up to horrible back pain. I couldn't sleep at all. By morning the pain was so bad I was throwing up. Jeff decided to take a vacation day Monday. He took Noah and Sawyer to Disneyland. I guess it was horribly crowded because it was one of the last days for our pass. Either way I am glad that got to have some fun. I headed to urgent care to try and get some relief for my back I thought I threw out. I went home with some fantastic drugs and muscle relaxers.
Monday night in the middle of the night I woke up with a horrible pain in my right side under my ribs. I thought I might die. This just happens to be the same pain that sent me to the ER when I was prego with Ryder. Tuesday I headed into the dr. telling them I thought I had gallstones. They said I was too young and it was probably an ulcer. After I told him my mom had gall bladder surgery at 35 he thought they should do an ultrasound. After the ultrasound they found 20 gall stones. The tech she had NEVER seen so many and was surprised I could even walk. Thanks high pain tolerance.
Wednesday I met with the surgeon. To my disappointment they said that I needed to schdedule the surgery in 4-6 weeks. I was so frustrated and totally cried on the way home. I was in the most horrible pain. Really I didn't know how I could live with this pain. And then have surgery and have to deal with that and the boys.
Wednesday was a long night and Thursday morning I was throwing up again and dying in pain. Jeff I think had enough of seeing me so upset that he called his mom and took me to the ER. They got me in very fast. The nurse was nice and immediately got me started on an IV and pain meds. They were wonderful. They did another ultrasound and the ER dr. told me that they were going to admit me because my gall bladder was starting to get infected. Then a few minutes later they decided to go ahead and do the surgery. It all happened so fast and I remember them prepping me. Then I woke up startled and I was in recovery. I hate being put under it is the freakiest thing. I hate not having control.
I came home friday afternoon and have been pretty out of it since. Today is the first day I can sit up and really carry on a conversation. I hope that the worst is over and that this next week goes by faster. I just want to be better and get on with summer.
Thanks to all our family and friends who have and are helping us. I hate having to ask for help and have been so blessed.

Oh Randomness.....I should be cleaning.....
Yah I am having a random day....I never posted the pictures from our family pics in November...yah you read that right.....but in keeping with the theme this is one of my absolute favs!

On with the randomness....
*I got my hair done yesterday nothing too big just more blonde. I almost forgot how much I LOVE getting me hair done.
*I love being tan....not that I am tan enough...I love it. In college I had a tanning addiction....I lived for the fake sun.
*I am appalled by how much my car registration was really California is in need of some reform. Oh and I need a smog check. Thanks CA and all your spending problems.
*I have an obsession with salsa and perfecting the perfect recipe.
*Tonight is date night.
*All you people with laminate wood floors what is your favorite cleaner for it? I have yet to find one that I am impressed with.
*I need a beauty supply store run something serious.
*I am a Dr. Pepper addict. Not every day I don't like it from the can only fountain. Can I get one installed in my house....too bad I would never loose weight that way.
*Someday I will be skinny. I loathe all of you who eat whatever...I look at bread and gain five pounds. Where is the justice?
*After watching Grey's this season I am convinced I have skin cancer. Really I can't watch TV shows they scare me....ask Jeff once there was a house episode about a baby right after I had Noah I refused to let him watch it.
*I need a new hobby. I know many of you are thinking blogging is my hobby...I want something more fulfilling.
*I want to take a photography class. I think I could be really good at it. And from what I remember in high school photography it can't be that hard.
*I have been getting a lot of headaches...I never knew I had such bad allergies.
*My new bed comes on Wednesday. I can not wait.
*My kids are funny. They make me laugh!
Okay I am done I could go on forever and year. And if you just read all of that I am so sorry. You must be as bored as I am! Thanks for humoring me!!

Week of Birthdays!!
Last Friday we celebrated Sawyer's 2nd Birthday. It was so fun. Ever since I was a little kid my mom always made a BIG deal about our Birthday's. So I tend to go crazy. Jeff and I blew up 20 balloons and put them all over his room. And put up streamers and a cute cars banner. We always do breakfast in bed. So when he woke up we took him his chocolate doughnuts in bed ......and of course being Sawyer he did still want cereal but we don't do that in bed. He had a great day we took him with some of our friends to McDonalds he got a happy meal and played in the play place. Then that night we went to round table. He loved his birthday and kept telling everyone else happy birthday. It was so cute!
Then Saturday we went out with The Trapp's to celebrate Michelle, Patrice, Sawyer and mine birthday's. We had a lot of fun. Sawyer and Noah LOVED their bumblebee transformers. Seriously they have never behaved so well at a restraunt.
Yesterday was Leslie's birthday. We took her and her friend Hayley to Disneyland. It was a long day but it was so nice to have helpers!! The week of Birthdays is now over for now. Boy did we have fun celebrating!
On another note thanks everyone for your thoughts and advice about Ryder. He is finally on some strong medicine for his severe acid reflux. We will try this for three months and then re-evaluate....which probably means a specialist with lots of not fun tests. But we are glad that he is finally becoming a happy baby. This past month has been so trying on my patience to see your baby suffering and not able to tell you is horrible. Thank goodness for modern medicine. I know that there is a lesson in patience for me in all of this. I hope it is over soon because I really want to enjoy him, instead of wishing the days away. So thanks again and thanks for the Birthday wishes and to our friends and family who endure Ryder's sad sad cries whenever we hang out.

Best Birthday!!!
The last few Birthdays have been rather lame, last year it was on a Sunday boo...boring. And the year before that I was so huge and fat and miserable four days before having Sawyer plus I was on bed rest. But this year was fabulous. So fabulous.
After hanging with my parents on Saturday we partied some more with Jeff's family. We went to the Cheesecake Factory. We celebrated Grandpa Rich, Aunt Patrice, Me and Sawyer..lots of March birthday's. It was yummy food and fun people. Ryder screamed the entire time. Finally he gave it up just in time for me to do some shopping with my birthday cash. I got some great stuff from Old Navy. And some really cute shoes at Nordstroms. I LOVE Nordstroms did you know if they don't have what you want you can buy it and they will ship from another store and ship to your house? I got my shoes today I was so excited when I got home today!
Sawyer loved presents....Noah was sad and wanted to know where his presents were.

One of the only happy moments all night. TEETHING is HORRIBLE!!!

Massages....we go on Thursday I can't WAIT!!!!

My actual birthday started out with a sourdough bagel in bed with presents. I got PHOTOSHOP. I am so excited to learn it and take better pictures. I really want to take a class maybe in the fall!
After breakfast we headed to speech (a dreaded Monday morning activity) and then off to Disneyland. Grandma Jody watched Ryder so we could have fun and enjoy the day. Good thing it was very crowded but well worth it. Thanks friends for meeting us and having fun with us. The boys had so much fun buying stuff with my fun card. Seriously that is the coolest thing free stuff.

When I got home from Disneyland Jeff had sent me two dozen roses....they were gorgeous I am so lucky.
After Disneyland Jeff took me out to dinner. We went to Outback, Jeff was a little worried since the last time it was horrible. But I complained about that and they sent me a gift card so I wanted to use it. I love free stuff.

Thanks everyone for the Birthday wishes I had a great day and I am SO lucky to be surronded by such great friends and family.
