The Excuse......

I promise I have good one for my lack of updates. For those who haven't heard........

I'm PREGNANT with #4!!!!!

We found out right around the time we were moving. Which puts me about 10 weeks. I thought I was further but the Dr. pushed me back two weeks. Which doesn't matter so much because we are hoping to get me to the goal of 36weeks. So we will be welcoming #4 in March sometime.

I went to the Dr. last week. All looks well...and NO twins. Which was something I was REALLY nervous about.

I have been feeling very different this time around. I am HUNGRY. Like crazy hungry but then I take two bites and I am stuffed. Jeff is laughing because he says he has never seen me be hungry like this especially in the last year. And I am super nauseous. But not throwing up like the others. I have like ONE really bad day a week. But hopefully that will be over in the next couple of weeks.

I am obsessed with FRUIT. Seriously I am living off nectarines, watermelon, grapes. Anything fruity or sour. Disneyland's sour gummy worms are my absolute favorite and I actually bought 4 packages last night :) I can't stand the sight of CHOCOLATE....which if you know me is SO not like me.

The boys are very excited......they are constantly asking what the baby is going to be and it changes daily what they want. It is going to be a long 9 months but we are SO excited for this new chapter in our life!!!

A Getaway

We had promised the boys a family Disneyland day once the craziness died down a bit.
We planned to take them last Saturday. Last Friday I called Jeff
and asked him to look into hotels so we could maybe make a
weekend out of it. He found a great deal on a Marriot right
around the corner from Disneyland.

When the boys woke up from there naps I told them what our plan was they were so excited.
We have never done anything like this with them. We have never done any kind of vacation with just the five of us. The boys kept asking when we were meeting up with Grandparents or someone
else. We went and picked up Jeff from work grabbed a quick bite to eat and headed up
to check in. We went and walked around Downtown Disney and buy our tickets for Saturday.

Saturday morning we headed into the park bright and early. It was great because there
were NO lines and the kids got to go on whatever they wanted. Noah was FINALLY tall
enough for Indiana Jones!!!! We then headed over to California Park to stand in line for World of Color
tickets. It took FOREVER!!! Jeff was able to take the big boys on California Soarin while I waited for
tickets. Luckily a nice girl behind us gave us a balloon for Ryder he was so happy.
In the afternoon we had a little scare from Sawyer. When we got off of Toy Story Mania we were all in the toy story store and suddenly we realized Sawyer was missing. We began to get frantic when after about five minutes we still didn't see him. I was quickly asking people sitting outside the store and checking the rides around bathrooms. Finally we found a worker who was radioing it in. Then a guy sitting outside the store saw Sawyer running and crying he grabbed him and showed him where we were. I was a mess at this point. And so grateful we found him. When we asked hime where he went he told us he wanted to go meet Jessie. So he went by himself. When we took him over to wait in line the worker was like oh good he found his Mom he was standing over here for awhile and she asked him where his mommy or daddy was and I guess he panicked and took off before she could grab him. I am glad he was ok. It was the first time I have ever lost one of them and I tell you what it scared me half to death!!!!

We went back to the hotel and took naps and grabbed some dinner and then we headed over to California Adventure to watch World of Color. I have mixed emotions about it. It definitely was a fun show. In my opinion not worth all the waiting and the hype. But I am glad we saw it. But I am glad we can check it off the list so we don't need to go through that again.

Since we spent all of Saturday at California Adventure we went back to Disneyland the next day. It was not crowded and so nice to take the boys on the big kid rides. I took the boys on Splash Mountain and they loved it. Sawyer was cracking everyone up because he made me cover his eyes almost the entire time. He is such a funny kid. He was so excited to go.....but doesn't love the big drops. But he did good.

WE had a great family weekend. The boys were so happy and well behaved. It makes me want to go to Disneyland everyday!! I love our little family and it was so nice to spend some time together.

San Diego Part 4

I promise this is the last of the never ending post.

Sunday we said Goodbye to Coronado. Before heading home we
stopped at the Church's Mormon Battalion Museum.
It was so neat definitely a must see. I love the way they tell the story through a few members of the battalion
it made it come to life. I can't wait to go back again.
At the end they take your group picture and then you get to go outside and pan for gold
build with bricks and pump water.

It was a great time. I am so glad that we were able to go and do this together.
If you are ever in San Diego it is free and it will not disappoint!!!

San Diego Part 3

Saturday we spent the day on Coronado Island. It was nice to hang out and relax. First up was to rent bikes! I have wanted to rent these bikes for a long time. The boys were a little sad that they couldn't do the pedals. Maybe in a few years. Luckily we had Leslie and Patrice to help us pedal. It was exhausting.

After the bike ride we had lunch and then headed down to the pool. The pool was SO warm it was heavenly. We stayed for many many hours. Noah and Sawyer are doing so great with swimming Ryder HATES the water and refuses to get in.

We then went to a yummy burger place and walked around the Hotel Del. The boys LOVED playing in the sand, the sand is so soft and fine by the hotel.

This is the view from our room. It was absolutely beautiful. Especially at night when you could see down town San Diego.

We ended the night at our favorite Moo Time. So yummy. It was a great fun day! And we were exhausted by the time we got back to the rooms.

San Diego Part 2

Friday morning we went to the San Diego Zoo. We met Aunt Heidi, Taylee and David.
It was a great day. The boys LOVED the zoo. We researched some animals before
we went down there so we were excited to see some of the great animals they have.
These are in reverse order but hey:
This was at the Polar Bear Plunge. The boys loved
playing in the helicopter.

Lions were all Noah could talk about. Sawyer and Ryder kept
calling them Lion King. It was very cute.
Here is the only family picture we got that day.....

Noah was very excited to see the leopard. It kept following him back and forth
up against the glass.

Posing with baby Kaitlyn. Ryder was in a mood all day
he was not happy to share with her.
Sawyer relaxing at the polar bear plunge.....

Ryder LOVED the animals. Especially the Elephants. They have done such
a great job with the exhibit. Definitely worth the walking!

The kids had fun posing on every single statue that they could find.
The little boys loved the foot massager and tried to get daddy to put
quarters in one every time they found one.

David, Noah and Taylee's turn

Group shot minus Papa Rich, me and Ryder (who was throwing a hideous fit)

It was a fun day. We took the boys back to the pool
and wore them out big time. That night we left Leslie
with the boys and went out to dinner with all the adults.
It was fun to go out and have adult conversation and celebrate
Rich and Jody's anniversary!

San Diego Weekend Part One

We left Thursday afternoon for an extended weekend in San Diego with The Heaton/Trapp crew. First up on the agenda was the Dodger Padres Game. Petco park is such a cool
baseball park. I loved the city all in the background. I seriously LOVE San Diego.
We were completely outfitted for the big game! Thanks to Old Navy and Target. The
boys even got there first dodger hats.
The boys refused to give me a decent group shot!

Grandma Jody spent a lot of time of the phone making sure everything was perfect for our weekend. We were so lucky she called about seating. We were in the nice shade the entire time.

The highlight for Jeff and the boys was the foul ball Jeff caught! The boys were so excited!!!
The boys got a little restless after 2+ hours in the car and then the game. Luckily Ryder and Sawyer conked out on us in the 8th inning. The perfect cat nap.
It was a fun game even the Dodgers lost. It was worth it to check out the park.
I love day games. They are by far my favorite.
Now that we finally got to a baseball game it finally feels like summer!!!
More of our trip to come! But probably not for a few days.....the BIG move is upon us!
